works well and easy to thread
This wooden handle punch works well and is easy to thread. It is more expensive than plastic punches, but the wooden handle punch should last a lifetime. The wood is smooth so there is not any catching of yard by wood snags.I watched YouTube videos on how to use it. It does come with a small instruction book which is helpful. I am just starting to learn punch needle work.

Perfect for Beginners
I'm just starting out with punch needle crafting and have only tried a few other needles before discovering Amy Oxford but I love the mini! Easy to thread, the punches glide through monks cloth and look amazing, I easily punched for hours with no fatigue in my hands or wrist, can't say the same for my neck. I need to invest in one of the Oxford frames probably. Would definitely recommend, I wasn't too impressed with my practice samples using other punch needles and was starting to lose interest but now I'm 'hooked'!

Buy the best tool you can afford
I've only recently started rug hooking. This is the second hook I've used and it is a great tool. It is of the qualitythat it is advertised to be. The cost is a bit high for me but I prefer to buy the best tools I can for whatevercraft I'm working on. It takes a bit of practice to get the technique right, but it is very easy and as with anything,the more you do it the better you become.

I found this one to be perfect for my rug hooking
I design and create rugs of various sizes. Using this rug hook Is all I need for my rug creations. Although I have every kind of needle hook there is in the market, I found this one to be perfect for my rug hooking. It's comfortable to use and so durable I don't need any other.

THE BEST!
I use this almost everyday. The needle just slides in and out very easy with no catches on the fabric. I tried less expensive Punch Needles. Didn’t work so well and I needed to send them back. The Oxford product is worth every penny.
