CLINIC SHOE Women's Terry Cloth Comfort Slippers, Adjustable Upper, Wide Width

I love this pair of Navy Blue Terry Cloth Slippers. I bought a Large Size which said on the Size Chart Large (8-9). When I put these on my toes went clear to the edge of the slipper. My regular Shoe size is 7-1/2W. So you can see they run ..Somewhat Small ! I really like the Velcro closing because occasionally my feet swell, and these slippers are also not a double-wide size as they stated. They are more like a regular in Width. If you use the Velcro, you can gain more width. They are comfortable for around the house with a rubber sole, so you can walk outdoors, or walk to the mailbox, but that is about it.I can never find dark slippers. They are always light pastel colors, so I was so excited when I saw Navy Blue and in a double width which I need.So, I was a little disappointed when my feet just fit inside these slippers, and I had to put Velcro way out for the Width. So, I would say, if your foot is a size 7-1/2 W or over,..order the XL. The width you can't change. I still gave them a 5-star, because I wanted a Navy Blue slipper that I could wear that would look a little more like a shoe if someone visited, or I walked outside.

My mother has been asking for slippers for a long time. She has not had a pair since she slipped in the house while wearing the type of slippers that have no back on them. I was hesitant to purchase any for her because of her history with falling, but every time I talked to her she mentioned how she would sure like a pair of slippers. Anyway, I decided to look for a slipper that could be tightened at the toe area to fit snugly. I also wanted a slipper with a back on it. I couldn't find any in the local stores but found this slipper through Amazon. Mom was really happy when she got these slippers and says she likes them. I've cautioned her to not wear them all day long as her foot needs more support, so she wears them in the morning when she first gets up and in the evening when she is getting ready for bed.

I am sensitive to synthetic fabrics and have to wear cotton. In addition my feet will sometimes swell. It is so difficult to find cotton slippers which fit the bill. These worked much better than expected. They are filled with what feels like synthetic foam, but the outside cotton fabric is working just fine to prevent any reaction to the non-cotton component. The adjustable closure works great if I need to loosen them up. My only issue is the open toe, but they are warmer than I anticipated. I can occasionally feel a draft, but over all, they are better than I have been able to find elsewhere. I will buy again.

Purchased these for my mother because they have the heel enclosed. I wanted a house shoe that wouldn’t flop on her foot to give her stability. She has a narrow foot and heel. The toe box has Velcro and is adjustable which is great. The heel is a bit loose but with socks works good. (She is like a 3x narrow foot, hard to fit) She likes them a lot.

These slippers are very soft, and I like the adjustable upper and the open toe. But the adjustable closure is a little stiff and the edge sometimes rubs on the top of my foot, making them too uncomfortable to wear for very long. They also slip off of the heel when walking up and down stairs. I like the color and the softness, just wish they didn't rub the top of my foot.

I bought these for my elderly mother who has swollen feet from time to time especially at the end of the day, and in spite of the velcro, they only fit when she has NO swelling at all in her feet. If you are buying for a senior with even mildly swollen feet, be aware they are narrow-cut and I bought the wide width (and my mother normally wears narrow shoes!). Her normal sandals have much more adjustment to handle changes in foot size and these are no different than her older name brand slippers in width. Not what I expected all all and definitely NOT wide cut. For regular and narrow feet, however, these look like they could be comfortable slippers.

The slippers are just what I was looking for in a summer house slipper. The are comfortable with just enough padding in the insole but not enough to make them bouncy to walk in. I have a problem back so I needed something fairly firm and these are just right. They are a bit wide for my B-width feet but I just overlapped the top more. I am happy with these slippers.

These are the softest, best fitting slippers ever! Live in them all the time I'm inside. My wide feet love the adjustable fit. Have neuropathy in my feet and legs as well as swelling from chronic venous insufficiency and deep vein thrombosis. These are marvelous when I get out of supportive shoes and 40 compression hose from all day and relax. Love the dark grey color. Stays clean. I've always worn the slip on style of adjustable slippers but the heel keeps them snugly on my feet and prevents me from slipping and feeling unsteady on my feet. I'll buy more of this style..
