Amusing.
Dumbfounded by this sophisticated form of magic trick. At some point I find mentalism very creepy and dangerous. If used in the hands of wrong people it can harm people instead of amuse them with your skills. But to not quickly judge those who practice and use this, I decided to discover what mentalism is about. I fairly learned key things about the topic. And rested my case on the following: first, this book removed my old/uninformed judgement about those who use it. This skill can be used by anyone who has superior mind skills. The most basic mentalism skills can also be used for different occupations in different industries. Second, mentalism is not only for mere tricks, it is the ability to pass tricks as part of real human ability. So, if you would like to be the next David Blaine or Banacheck, be sure to check out this book and learn something valuable!

Barely worth $3
The book is only like 30 pages, which I knew before purchasing. I didn't know 10 of those pages would be suggestions for other books to read. That made me really mad. The info I learned from the book was kind of interesting, but very vague. There are about 3 "tricks" to learn. Only the last one he teaches could be a mind blower. This trick is the only reason I think this book is worth the $3.

Interesting book
Quite interesting book but not enough information about the subject, I was disappointed because I'd expected more than that. Weak.

30 page pamphlet - this is not a guide, or a book, it's a joke
The only mentalism here is that I was duped into paying for a pamphlet - what a joke. Totally useless content that had I taken the time to read others reviews I would not have purchased. I was duped by the 5 star (must be fakes) rating on a pure money grab for no value.I want my $3 back

Waste of money
I don't even wanna give this 1 star. This book, or should I say booklet, is a joke. It is purely an short overview of mentalism, you could learn more on Wikipedia. It's 24pgs of "content" tells you everything you already know about mentalism and not how to really do it. "The ABSOLUTE beginners guide" is about right haha!

Mentalist read. ...
I thought that this could be an interesting read if you were flunking out of the third grade. I was not impressed with the content.

Short, but a good
This was a good intro. Gives you the basic foundation, but what really makes this is that it introduces you to how this genre works. You know what to look for when you want to dive deeper.

Good
It's an ok book. You get to know how mentalism is done but the final trick you'll have to train hard and practice and then perform to some people. It's just the basics as the book says...but it's good to start in mentalism world.

None
This is a short book. It does teach a couple of tricks but is more an info book rather than a Beginners Guide.
