Got some to catch excess water from potted plants, they've ended up all over my house. You can definitely paint on them, they are a good size for a coaster for a mug, and beautifully sparkly. I've ordered two sets of 12 and there are one or two that have some imperfections but it adds to their charm and there is still one side that's very smooth if your goal is to paint on them (but the sparkles are really hard to cover up :)

I like the size and very slight variations do not matter to me and I have started to make snowmen decoratione fit .Like the thickness too.I would order again However given 4 stars because one stone has biggish bit broken off the edge and this was not due to transportation as the broken piece is not in the package.

I bought these for the grandchildren. They are nice and big... Pebbles are a bit small. Although heavy they like to hide them on walks.

I used these in an art class that I run for 8-11yr olds. They loved them! They look a bit more like marble/granite rather than 'beach' pebbles, but they are lovely and 'sparkly' white, smooth and flat and so easy to paint and draw on. Will definitely be purchasing more.

Arrived quickly used these as decorative plant pot stones. Very pretty.

These are great rocks for painting good size and smooth flat surface
