Purchased this PLA for printing a RC Plane
My previous purchase of Red was from ERYONE Filament. Eryone Red is a glossy finish and on very flat surfaces with a "Wall line count" of 1 it really shows up a lot of unwanted details. However for printing miniatures, It is great for more complicated models. This DURAMIC Red is more of a Flat Red and looks amazing on flat surfaces and is very good hat handling Stringing as well with only a "Wall line count" of 1. As this is a used to print out a RC Plane Wing which has to be very lite and strong This filament does an excellent job!

I cannot get this stuff to print well at all
It is PLA so I will give it 2 stars. Aside from that, I think its a waste of money even though its cheaper than most other brands. I cannot get this stuff to give a decent print whatsoever. It strings, it leaves blobs, it curls up immediately. I've tried every bed setting, i've tried every nozzle temperature, I've tried every slicing option, nothing will get this stuff to give a decent print.I've been able to get other brands to give me a 3 inch horizontal unsupported extrusion. I cant even get this one to give me 1cm, it just snaps in the middle, curls back into the edges and creates ridges. Any cutouts with angles sharper than about 20 degrees, good luck, its not going to happen. This is the first and only PLA i've ever had completely not stick to the bed and cause a huge mess during a print. It feels a lot grittier than most other PLA i've had but I think its just the way its manufactured.Overall, dont waste your money. I will never even finish using half of these rolls, its not worth the time wasted.

best pla+ ever!
Easy to print you can see it with the first one it's an amazing quality. I have no difficulty to print it with my Ender 3 pro -225 nozzle -70 bed -hairspray for adherence. If u put hairspray It won't come out easily so I will need put it in freezer and wait 10-15 min it will pop out by it self. It didn't came out with moisture in and feels really like play+ cause it's way more stronger than regular one, I made a regular Ender 3 silencer fan at 25% infill and could have not break it with my hands. I will definitely buy more. Yes it's a bit expensive but good product aren't always cheap.

Great filament all around!!!
Duramic is a newer company to the filament game and quickly have won me over with pricing vs quality. I'm the type of geek who wants to have the best when possible but also wants to save money. I bought this stuff on a whim looking for a good PLA PLUS and was quickly surprised and won over. The look, strength and adhesion are all good compared to other top brands which I use them all. Also making toys for my son has shown the true strength.

All I wanted
Prints well at 230°C on my Ender 3 (as recommended in the other reviews). Other printers are likely lower since the Ender 3 is 5° inaccurate. I keep the bed at 60°C for the whole print. I tried 50°C for the first layer (and unheated for the rest) but part corners peeled off the plate. The smell is slightly worse than PETG; It's far from bad but I'd prefer to not spend significant time in the same room. The stringing is similar to PETG, but I haven't tested it on lower temps. The tolerances seem as good as regular PLA, printing a 9.3mm cylinder had a diameter ranged between 9.30 and 9.39. No elephant's foot effect.Great layer adhesion, it resists cutting decently and doesn't snap at the layer lines. The plastic turns white if it gets elongated.
