Blown Away: From bestselling author and illustrator Rob Biddulph, creator of the internet sensation Draw with Rob!

Rob Biddulph is my son's favorite author, he has been following his drawing lessons during the lockdown. So has has asked me to buy him a few of his books.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this adorable book! It's a very cute, rhyming tale of a penguin that ultimately finds there is no place like home. Great writing, great pictures, this is now our go-to book for gifts because it's obscure enough that kids probably don't have it, but it feels like a classic once you own it.

I bought this because it won a Children's Book award through Waterstones (Amazon was cheaper!). I didn't know what the story was about and had never heard of the author, but I was swayed by the award. I didn't think much when it arrived, but what do I know?! My 3 yr old son LOVES this book. The story is short and simple but different from all his other books. He loves Penguin Blue and his friends and we have read it every day since it arrived. Through reading it, I have come to love the book as well for its thought out simplicity. The illustrations are whimsical and we love looking at the details in the different scenes. I will definitely keep this author on my 'watch' list and I hope there is another Penguin Blue book soon!

This is now my son's favorite book! The illustrations are beautiful and the story is wonderfully creative. There's a great page that helps us practice counting as well! Highly recommend it.
