Product does not work on Indian Voltage
I LOVE this product when using it in the US. When I ordered it from India I was expecting to receive a product suited to Indian voltage. But this uses US voltage. What use is it to me now?? I could have easily brought my own neck warmer from America when I came to India. But I thought I would get one in India so I would not have to use it with a voltage converter. (I have had very bad experience with converters; more often than not, they DO NOT work!)Now I am left holding a product I cannot use. The Voltage required for using this product should have been clearly mentioned in the description of the product.

5 years later, still the GOT
LADIES - YOU NEED THIS.I have PCOS & have the WORST cramping/stomach pain that can come out of nowhere, anytime. It’s actually 4AM and I’m wide awake with terrible cramps. The moment I turned my pad on I felt relief (as usual), so much that I had to come on here, go back 3 years of amazon order history, and write my first review.I have my heating pad turned on high and it offers me INSTANT relief. No Advil, Tylenol, Ibuprofen gives me pain relief like this pad does. I can actually feel my muscles relaxing the moment I put it on, I swear. The chord is long so you can curl up with it, it automatically shuts off after about ~45ish minutes which I love because I fall asleep with it often. It’s extremely soft and the shape, which is designed for shoulders, actually works really well on your lap/lower stomach area too! Not to mention it’s very soft, thick enough so you don’t just feel the chords inside (I’ve felt some cheap heated blankets like that), and flexible to where you can position it the way you need it. I love this thing. My roommate had it in college and I stole hers all the time and ended up buying the same one I loved it so much! Three years later is still my go to when I’m in pain. So in total, I have been using this product for 5 years! The “smell” is the wires heating up inside the soft material, I think. I mean anything that heats up like this (space heater, radiator) kind of projects this “heat” smell. It’s an absolute non-issue for me, as it’s faint and I’m more focused on not being in pain anyway! Of course, I don’t use this on my shoulders right next to my nose, either. There’s no smell when the pad is turned off.Heat wise, some people are saying it doesn’t get very hot. I disagree! I think if it got any hotter you wouldn’t be able to keep it on direct skin for very long. On high, this thing puts out heat that is still comfortable and effective. There are so many pros to this heating pad. If you suffer from terrible period cramps, stomach pains, headaches, back pain, this is the thing for you. It’s soft, cozy, comforting, and totally worth every penny!!

Comfortable, hot and looks good
This heating pad works great. It fits very snuggly and comfortable around my neck, and the magnet at the front is a great idea. The magnet holds it in place nicely while it is around my neck. While on high the heat is great on my sore muscles. I like the auto shut-off, for whenever I forget about it. I also use it on my thighs which are very tight, and it is a nice size to fit around my legs. Recommend it!

Great product
I bought this to help with my neck pain, and it works great. I use it several times a week in the evenings and it has helped a great deal. There is a magnet in the front, and the pad heats up quickly. There are 3 heat settings, and an auto shut off. I found the high setting equivalent with my other heating pad's high setting. The only thing I would have liked is if it was longer in the back to heat lower than my shoulder blades, which I sometimes need in addition to the neck and upper shoulders - but I knew that when I bought it so of course I cannot fault the product.

Very nice neck and shoulder warmer
I've not had an electric neck warmer before so nothing really to compare it to. I like this warmer a lot.I was surprised by the weightiness of it. Not that this is a problem. It isn't *heavy*. Because of the wiring it is just more substantial than a quilted throw. It means it stays in place and the heat is held against one's body.(Edited to add: it does raise up at the shoulders when sitting back against a chair. I noticed this after using it for a while.)Well shaped. I am a very petite woman with small proportions. It fits exactly as illustrated in the photos. Not sure how it would work for a very large or broad shouldered person. The magnetic closer works well and is nicely incorporated in the workmanship which is very professional.Good controls. I like the auto-off safety feature. Placement of the cord attachment is out of the way of arm movement, yet convenient. Cord is 110" from wrap connection to outlet plug. Control is about 14" from connection. Plenty of cord to reach wall outlet behind my chair and then some, but I used an outlet strip for convenience.(ETA: I wish there was a single button to turn it off. If one is using the warm setting, you have to click through all the higher heat levels to turn it off. Luckily it does have that auto-off so this is not a safety issue if you don't have the time to click thru.)Of course one is anchored to a chair or bed while it is plugged in. However, you can disconnect the cord right up at the front side of the wrap. (Leaves about an inch of light weight plastic connecter sticking out that is not a problem.) The only problem for me is that disconnecting takes two hands and mine are rather stiff from arthritis. (ETA: So far I have to remove the wrap to do this. (Actually, I only have to remove it when my hands are especially stiff. I can usually do it while wearing.)Cleanable. Disconnected, you can machine or hand wash and machine or line dry per instructions. I think I'd opt for hand washing.Moist heat option. I have not tried this yet. I'll add an update if I use it.After searching online, I bought this wrap to help in the winter with neck and upper back pain from rheumatoid arthritis. So far I have used only the lowest heat setting and this is enough. Might go higher as the cold winter sets in. There is a consistent level of heat over the whole under surface of the wrap.Style and comfort. I chose the green color and it is pretty. The plush fabric is soft and very comfortable. You can feel the cords with your hands, especially in the rolled edges, but your body does not notice this at all, at least sitting up. (ETA: See above about bunching.) I even tried it on bare skin and did not feel the cords while wearing it. I have also worn it while unplugged and it provides good protection for the neck from drafts.I give this 5 stars for design, workmanship and that it fit the bill for my needs so well. Off hand, I can't think of any improvements other than to have a longer section down the back. (ETA: and an Off button)
