ScotchPackaging Tape Hand Dispenser (DP300-RD)

Well, this tape dispenser by Scotch really couldn't be any easier to operate. And yes, it is completely made of plastic (aside from the row of cutting teeth). I think that will make this tape dispenser last longer than the big giant common ones though. That, and because this tape dispenser doesn't really have any moving parts on it.I would definitely recommend Scotch's tape dispenser to anyone who uses a lot of packing tape, or any other tape that requires a tape dispenser of this size. Because I use a lot of packing tape and this tape dispenser has always worked well for me. The only thing missing that I wish this tape dispenser DID have, is the ability to replace the serrated cutting teeth.

This gives you full control of the tape and your hand is the brake allowing you to choose the tension when applying and cutting. I can't stand the other model. It never gets the tape tight and the tearing is worse. I've used this model for years and will continue to.

Easy to use, lightweight, quick cut. I don’t have to hunt for the start of the tape roll every time. Definitely a smart purchase!!

Works well and not bulky like the metal tape guns. I carry this one with me for taping up boxes and if I lose it, I can replace it easily.

Just what I needed

I love this product. I have one for regular packaging tape and one for eBay tape.

When factoring in the price this is the best tape dispenser there is. I own eight of these specific dispensers cause we are in the auction and eBay business and it's nice to just always have one of these Red! DP300's laying around somewhere. I say this specific model is the best dispenser cause 3M makes heavier duty tan colored similar model to this DP300, But the tan colored 3M models are $25 each! So this Red DP300 is not as well made as 3M's tan model but so what! you can four of these Red models for the price of one tan colored 3M model dispenser. And I have not broken even one of these Red 3M's yet. So I see this Red DP-300 has 4.2 stars rating instead of deserved 4.9 and I don't know why. Cause you can pull the tape very snug and tight on a carton with this dispenser and then with a flick of the wrist effortlessly cut the tape (and note it takes a little practice to use this specific type of dispenser versus those completely worthless big handled gun type 2" dispensers), but once you get the hang of using this specific type of dispenser you will not go back to the worthless big gun handled pieces of crap.

This is by far the best tape hand dispenser. I work as a packer in a moving company, so a use this tape machine every single day from Monday to Friday and I do around 50 boxes every day. It's really easy to use, is not heavy on your hand, is very sturdy and it awesome. I rod a review saying that this tape machine was clumsy, but not at all. I even been giving like 5 of this away because my team have seen how easy is to use. And one the best parts is that you pay less than 10$. At first I bough another scotch tape gun, exactly like this one but I another color, and it cost me 36$ plus tax, so image when a saw this beautiful tape machine in color red which is attractive and cost me way less money than the first one. You really won't find another of this tape machines that are that good.

This is a genuinely helpful device. It makes applying tape to moving boxes much easier, it's inexpensive and should last pretty much forever. Its only drawback is that, due to the design of the tape guard, it does occasionally let the cut end of the tape slide back and stick to the roll. I think the guard can be easily modified, however, just haven't tried it yet. Overall, very satisfied.

I have brought 6 of these & can not fault them. Very easy to use much better than traditional tape m/c's. super service from seller as I'm in the U.K. Postage was very responsible as well.
