This is LOUD...idk maybe I have supersensitive hearing but every 10 sec or so it sounds like a hi pitched mouse squeal...it's not coming from walls (only scrabbling in there..I reside in a "historic " house ..half 18th century other half 19th...the side from 1772 has a crawl space and critters seem 2 get in there no matter what...lately a chipmunk had found its way into the walls /ceiling above kitchen I would hear it scampering around whilst working on My laptop at table...I am up ALL nite..and don't want to keep anyone else awake so chill down stairs. Drives my fat cat crazy hearing it running back and forth and then squeals every so often sounds like domestic trouble between at least mama and papa munk. Neway I felt bad as in NJ winters cold..and decided to leave it be for the time (I know nor a good idea for many safety and health reasons..but I an the type of person I hit a squirrel when driving i have an anxiety attack stop and move squirrel out of road ...also not smart. I know...I don't like to hurt things and have general empathy for all living creatures..) So this set up was OK since lock down..they go back outside in spring and return late autumn so really only a few months a yr..out of sight ..right? Wellllllll. So the other night..neway I was in bathroom (right above kitchen) and heard something rifling around in garbage pail...opened door and saw what I 1st thought 2b an Owl...soooo freaking cute! Found out it was Alvin or maybe simon..could be theorore.or theodora...set up humane traps but this critter too smart for such things...and would prob find themselves back in here unless I drove a few miles away w/said critter in car...no ty...Decided to try this...it was the least $$ so though would try this 1st.I have no idea what to expect..but I didn't hear thr scrabbling in walls and ceiling *and found enty way Alvin used to get in bathroom apparently supplie chains r low for critters too..or he had been making rendezvous and i never noticed..neway i sealed up that port of entry..check everyday and no new ones created..thankfully knock on wood (pun intended)Anyway this device is very loud...if I can hear it and gives me a headache then I can only imagine the poor critter(s).. I turn up the dial and the high pitched "white noise" and intermittent squeal Turns into what I can only describe as loud alien transmission sounds ( lol think I watched too much 90s TV shows..the outer limits had a show where aliens were sending a transmission to earth only teens could hear and they were enraptured by sound *(kinda like me and the grateful dead) and the sound had their body transform into a sort of skin tnat would be able to handle the impending doom earth would face with the sun...neway the sound from thar episode dude from Dawson's creek made an appearance..was sooo loud and bizarre and that's what this sounds like when I turn up thr dial as the little bit of instruction Said to do.I gave thus 4 stars in fairness as I don't know what it is supposed to sound like cos is 1st time I ever tried one of theseIf Alvin and company evacuate and stay away will change to 5 stars..that is if my brain doesn't hemorrhage from the sound..it really does give a head ache at lowest setting idk what will happen higher..Peace out

Been using now more than a month 24/7 on in my kitchen still seeing small bugs....end up sanitizing whole house still more effective... wasting of money

Works great... but mice are smart. You must use various techniques to prevent/minimize mice. Try everything, it all works but you've got to rotate your devices, methods or the mice will learn it's only a squeeker, only a trap, only a minty scent. Mice are smarter than most humans - so plan accordingly.

I purchased this product trying to get rid of roaches that come through the wall from my neighbor downstairs but it doesn’t work. I’m going to the old fashion way.

I have had my pets control unit almost for two weeks now and I’m so excited to see Amazon carries this product. I can’t say enough about this device. I have told more people about how great this product works, in fact my whole family have these in their homes. If you are looking for a way to keep roaches and other bugs and stuff out of your place without using stinky chemical sprays that kill bugs then this is it. I found this product on Amazon and I gave it a try. Ever since, I got this product, I never use spray inside my place anymore. Do yourself and your family a favor and use this product to be more safe and effective. YOU WILL LOVE IT.
