Guarantee is genuine
The thermos is great, amazing really but I'm sure the rest of the reviews easily tell you that. What they don't tell you about is longevity and the warranty, longevity in my case wasn't great it lasted a year and that was me taking good care never to drop it or put it in the dishwasher etc.The warranty however, absolutely brilliant, I called up Amazon to tell them my flask doesn't hold heat anymore and it states a five year guaranty, I honestly didn't expect much since most companies make it impossible to claim anything after a year, but no the guy was instantly like "thank you sir I've already ordered your replacement", three minute conversations and it was on its way prime delivered to my house. If this updated review helped, then please click helpful, no one ever does but it makes me want to leave reviews to help people out, cheers!

Simply the Best
I have owned this flask for 4 years. It has provided faithful service in the UK on a daily basis as well as stints in Kenya, Norway (in the winter, cross country skiing and did not let me down), Australia and Italy. The Graphite colour has long since peeled off but it looks good as stainless steel anyway. It keeps hot things hot all day. Be sure to make to drinking temperature as it will remain so for hours. It has been dropped multiple times and never once leaked.Highly recommended.

A Class quality... bare in mind it's a LARGE flask
Excellent flask. I owned a cheap version of the same design I had bought from Asda for £5. That to was good and would buy again but this is a different class. The lid is spring loaded and throws it's self open when the button is pressed. Unlike the cheap version the lid actually locks back in it's fully open position so when drinking from it the lid doesn't fall onto your face and is held away. Very useful! Also unlike the cheaper versions, when the clip is locked the button can be pressed but the lid is still firmly closed and when the button is released again it will fall back into it's fully closed position. My cheaper one, if the button was accidently pressed with the clasp locked, the button wouldn't then be fully locked unless I forced the lid shut.Small things like this make the few extra pounds worth it.Bare in mind this flask in LARGE 500ml appx. For me that's a little much and when full is a little heavy for a traveling lifestyle. I would prefer this in a 330ml size. But that's my own fault for not checking the size before I bought it. Still love it though.

Rubber smells and residue can accumulate on the groove
Took me two months to realise what’s poor with this Made in China design. Firstly, brand new Made in China grey thermos, the rubber on its cover smells, and took few weeks for the smell to be washed off/dissipate completely - there’s no issue with the Made in Malaysia version. Secondly, see the pic, the sipping bit for grey Thermos does not come off, whereas the Made in Malaysia (blue Thermos) you can detach it. I keep hot chocolate in my Thermos, and what I notice is over time, there’s brown residue on the groove and you need a small tip brush to reach and clean it properly. With the blue Thermos, I have no such issue as the design allows me to detach that particular section and wash to my heart’s content! Something to bear in mind before you make them purchase. Otherwise, both retains heat/cold no issue. Just a shame, there’s inconsistency in design and no effort was made to highlight it for consumer.

The problem is the smell the flask gathers is very hard to get rid off
It's good as a use and throw product.Made coffee for the first time and poured it in it was warm for over 6 hours.Anything you put in there be it cold water, cold juice stays cold for over 12 hours or hot tea, coffee stays hot for over 6 hours no problems. The problem is the smell the flask gathers is very hard to get rid off. I brought this because I'm a heavy drinker -coffee :-)But no matter how you wash it, I tried vinegar, salted water fairy liquid cleaned thoroughly with the brush the smell is embedded into the flask and doesn't go making coffee and tea smell like old granny's house.
