Shionogi, CUSHION CORRECT EZ denture cushion grip adhesive, 10g

Ok, here's what I have to say about this and how to apply it. It's just like Cushion Grip. 1) The tube must be put in a small cup of hot water to allow it to become soft. Do not boil, hot water from the faucet is good. Leave it for about 5 minutes. 2) Put the squeeze applicator onto the end of the tube to roll it out of the tube. 3) Remove the cap and use the roller to squeeze the gel out onto your chopper, the part that goes against your mouth (upper palate or lower gum; also, do make sure that your chopper is clean and very dry). It ought to be just warm now. 4) Smoothen the gel out evenly around the chopper (with your other chopper in place already in your mouth) put the gelled chopper in your mouth and bite down slowly and evenly. You will notice that the gel will ooze out and around out of the edges of the chopper; it's normal to have an overflow. If you do not get an over-flow, bite down a bit harder. Give it about ten to 15 minutes. At this point, go to the sink and put some warm water in your mouth to loosen your chopper, using your fingers to aid you in removing the chopper, slowly at that. 5) Remove any excess gel that might still be in your mouth. 6) Rince the chopper in Luke-hot water, just a little bit, now put it back into your mouth and bite down - GENTLY. GENTLY remove it again and this time, rinse it in cold water, really cold water; do it twice, slowly pulling it out with a final rinse and putting it bed for the next eight to 12 hours to all the gel to adhere to your chopper. 7) With a blade like an x-acto blade or a utility blade or sharp small scissors (go at it easy so's not to cut yourself) trim away any excess hardened "soft" gel over-flow from the said chopper. You may have to do this several times over the course of the next few weeks. My Cushion Grip applications would last me an excess of one year, and I trust that this gel will as well. This is very similar to Cushion Grip, it is more concentrated and a smaller tube. The tube does come with a very handy Key to help get all the product out of the tube. The shipping was very fast and on a personal basis I plan to order several more tunes ASAP.

This product is a perfect replacement for Cushion Grip! It works the same way, i.e., place the tube in warm water for about 5 minutes so that it is pliable. Since the makers of Cushion Grip decided to pull it off the shelves, I am so happy I found this product! There is only one drawback and that is it doesn't seem to last as long as Cushion Grip. I was able to go up to 6 weeks with Cushion Grip, I can go 3 to 4 weeks with one application of this. It is so worth it though in the long run! I just hope they keep the price down.

We have used Cushion g Grip for years. It seems to have been discontinued in the US. Speculators are charging terrible high prices for any remaining tubes in the country. This product is almost the same and about the price Cushion Grip was. My wife and I will use it as long as it is available. We hate the price gougers.

Originally bought this for my grandfather who has recently had problems with his dentures and has express discomfort when eating, to the point that he stopped eating solid food for a while. We tried various types of denture adhesives and so far this one has worked wonders for him. Much MUCH more easier to apply, compared to the ones you have to heat up with boiling water (definitely didn't work nor stick properly!). Anyway, got two of these precious products and hopefully he'll go back to eating properly again. Comes with a handy tube roller to get all the product out. Instructions come in Japanese only, but again it's rather straightforward that they're almost unnecessary, however if you look online there's translated instructions.

Seems to be the same as "Cushion Grip." It took about 2 or 3 weeks to get here.

Have been looking for something equivalent to Cushion Grip and this is as close as it gets. It gets used the same way that Cushion Grip was used so didn't need instructions in English. The time it took to get delivered was several weeks but definitely worth the wait. Will be ordering this again!

I bought this for my mother who always used the Cushion Grip in the past but is no longer available. She decided to give this a try begrudgingly and wants to buy more as it worked just like the Cushion Grip.
