Great for learning and hitting balls alone.
This has changed our tennis enjoyment a lot. My granddaughter and I like to play tennis but since she is 11, by the time she's available it's too hot or the courts are full. She is also just learning to play so hitting the ball is not always easy for her (or me).The first thing you should know is this machine does take 4 D batteries but it also comes with a plug if you have access to an outlet. We took the machine outside and set it to the first setting. That tosses balls for babies - Lol. We found that the 4th setting provides enough height and bounce for adults and kids who have played tennis before. This is not going to toss a ball over the net or to multiple locations. It will simply give you the chance to practice hitting balls to improve hand/eye coordination. We have used it for about 3 hours so far and the batteries are still going strong.

No AC adapter included
I was excited to use this product indoors without having to rely on batteries. Unfortunately, the AC adapter is not included in so now I will have to return the unit.
