It did stop the slipping, but doesn’t breathe at all. The sweat dripped down my mare’s sides when I used this.

I had tried all different saddles on a round bellied pony. Everything slipped forward. Until I used this pad!!

Does the job but I don't like how hot it makes the horse's back. I'm not sure what could be done about that if anything. Just something to be aware of.
