This is great for scooping potting soil and compost. Don't buy the plastic kind they are too flimsy and break. Also shop around on Amazon, I since found it for half the price.

I use this for dog food and keep it in the large container with the food. It's fantastic, sturdy, and easy to use. You get a large amount of food and it's easy to handle. I actually fill a small container with this and keep it in the storage room. It doesn't take too many scoops to fill my container :) I'm very happy with it.

I'm using this scoop as a garden trowel, as it moves far more dirt than a conventional one.Gets way more work done quickly and the arthritis is not so burdensome because of this.The stainless steel is also a plus, as aluminum gets worn away at a much greater rate.

I like the size - medium large - and is heavy duty. Polished thick steel with a welded on handle. The finish is great - smoothed edges and polished surface.
