Fun
This item arrived nicely packaged in a cardboard box. It's hot wheels, what's not to like... I got this for my nephew and he liked it. Inside the box are sheets of card, in which you have to take the pieces out and then put together to build the truck. He enjoys making things, so had a lot if fun putting it together. It also came with clear instructions so was easy for him to do so, or you can watch how to make it online if that's easier. The finished product was also really nice. The only bad thing about it is that it's not really a playable toy. I think its more of a display item so his truck is currently sitting on his bedroom shelf. Good set though, very fun

It's More Of A Building Kit, Than A Car To Play With...
So it seems you just get a random car in the pack? Ours was the top right one on the grid of six.Basically this package is two sets of pull-back & wind-up wheels, and a few sheets of plasticised cut-outs (it's not exactly cardboard, it's like thin plastic). You have to pop all the pieces out, and then assemble them according to instructions. The dimensions and sizes are pretty on point. What was not on point was the cutting, the pieces wouldn't come loose for me very easily and required a lot of persuasion. But for the most part, they fit well together and was quite sturdy. It took about 30-45m, there were a number of complex pieces that had to go in just the right way, etc, and were quite tight. It's not something I think a pre-teen would be able to do.Once assembled it's quite neat, but also a little flimsy and definitely under-powered.Honestly, for the gimmick of just assembly, it's decent. But for a toy that's going to be played with, it's definitely not going to last. And the supplied ramp is just bog-standard brown cardboard; it was just trash.

Bladez Hot Wheels Monster Truck
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. The below is my own real-world experience of using it.I was particularly drawn to it, because my children are fans of Hot Wheels, so the concept of building their own car was appealing. In terms of the assembly process, the instructions are straightforward - you should use all of the clearly-numbered pieces, corresponding to their location on the diagram provided. Actually getting all of the pieces out is a slightly more difficult task - the construction card is tough, and there are some tiny cutout fragments that you also have to remove. Pressing some of the components together can be fiddly, too, because the 'tabs' don't always line up (I had to use my nails to lock some of them into place).Despite the above, the finished result was very pleasing, and fun to play with. Having the included cardboard ramp was a cool extra feature. In summary, a good value kit that would make a nice rainy day project.

Engagement & learning as it's craft, plus fun!
The main feature of this toy is that it's craft, at first glance it looks like a full on truck but of course the body of the truck has to be assembled from the (good quality) card within, onto the big monster truck wheels. The monster truck wheels have the wow factor for kids as does the packaging, it's something that will immediately catch the eye of any young recipient and get them excited about their new toy! However as I mentioned this is a craft toy so it's best to sit down with your young recipient, if it's a gift to a relative for example, and walk them through crafting the body of the car, then they can play with it! I think it's a great thing for the imagination and in terms of the craft aspect it's going to be a great and engaging learning experience, something which could even ignite a hobby interest in crafting and building vehicles and other such things! At first I was taken aback when I realised what this was (first glance thought it was just a full on plastic monster truck) but the more I think about it, the more I conclude something like this is basically priceless for the experience it will give a young person. Everything within it is good quality, for what it is, and the manufacturer has advertised it accurately in terms of what it is - the 4 wheels then the craftable body! It's quite a novel concept but one that has been well carried out here and value wise it's good as they are not asking much for what you get with this toy and the fun / engagement provided is good from it, too.

Wheels keep coming off
The packaging looks great and makes us look a lot more fun than it is once opened the contents leave you a little bit underwhelmed to be completely honest. It’s not a bad size the wheels constantly fall off. There is a tutorial video you can watch by scanning the QR code On the instruction leaflet. Unfortunately, we got a little bit bored making this as it’s not that fun as it is really flimsy. My 9 year old son wasn’t overly impressed or excited by this kit even though he loves hot wheels
