The rating is based on how my husband and I feel about the pillow. My husband dislikes this pillow. He thinks it's too firm and too high. I, on the other hand like it except for the fact that it's hard to get a pillow case on.

These pillows have the right amount of firmness and maintain it through the night. I was always a multi pillow guy, but with these pillows all I need is one,( they come as a 2 pack).

I keep searching for that "Goldilocks" pillow that is not to soft and not too firm, but just right. When I received these I decided to give them a 2 week trial so I could see over time how I liked them and not rush a review. I did try 3 different brands that I ordered since I needed new pillows for our remodeled spare room anyway - and these were the winners. They even outperformed a $70 pillow that touts a "golden ratio" of filling. My wife also prefers these to the others we ordered. It's pretty close to being that perfect blend of neck support without being too stiff or soft - I like it and would recommend.

Nice pillows, and keep their shape, I have had them for over a week, definitely worth the money

These are very thick pilows. Just got them so have to get used to them they are soft will update after I use them.
