Perhaps someday, with the help of seekers like Leela and a little bit of light, we will emerge from the darkness and a crystal clear world will reveal itself.

If you didn't read Leela's first edition, please read this one. I love small adventure books and this is one of my favorites. It is written in a warm, heart felt yet succinct style. This is a rare adventure of courage and passion. It will open your eyes to the manner in which the great mystery of human evolution attempts to lead each of us to great adventure in life (whether inner or outer), if our minds and hearts would be open and listen. This will make you question the trance of our western culture and mind. It will encourage you to open to so much more. I await her second book.

A Christmas present that was well received! Great photos; I just wish the book had more substance.

In these succinct, short chapters Leela Hutchinson brings the reader on a lifelong journey, culminating in her experience of the amazing selenite crystals deep in the heart of the earth. Her sensitive narrative traces the links that brought her to this opportunity without overdoing the personal aspects or any added hyperbole. I hope the old edition of the book is removed from Amazon so that all readers will get a chance to see the full color, incredible images and the added narrative in Edition II. I respect and admire the author's courage and appreciate her ability to share this experience with such authenticity.

Interesting book, however was hoping for more information on the Giant Crystal Cave.

Leela's journey into the Naica Mines in Chihuahua Mexico is truly amazing. It has been my dream that I would someday visit the giant crystal caves. I want to experience this " hidden" world and it's mysteries located over a thousand feet beneath the earth. Leela was the first American woman explorer to enter into this cave system. Her adventures into this inhospitable world is comparable to an astronaut visiting another planet. There may be other caverns with giant crystals that are waiting to be discovered. I may not get the opportunity to visit the giant crystals but reading Leela's book does bring me closer to my dream. There are only a few privilege people on this planet that have seen and touch the giant crystals. Leela Hutchison is one of the privilege few.

Behind the story, there is Sacred Ancient Wisdom.A Sacred story that needs to be told, and Leela brings it forth beautifully.

Mysterious gigantic selenite cave in Naica, Mexico and unimaginable possibilities of the source that created these. The colored pictures give the reader a chance to see what Mother Earth hides beneath her. This book makes me want to explore caves.
