essie gel couture long-lasting nail polish, vegan, deep plum, Museum Muse

Love the color. I’ve been on a nail journey over the years. I’ve used every nail system and loved everyone but there’s something about your own healthy nails that I love. When you decide to were regular polish and not gel, it tends to be tricky with all the different colors and brands out there. Most do not stay on very long or wear and chip same or next day. Essie gel couture seems to be the best for longevity I’ve tried. I’ve went almost 2 weeks with a few. It of course is prep work to the base layer but as long as you use a bit of alcohol to take any oils off and work in thin/medium opacity layers you should be good. I use a nail hardener as a base and seche vite as a top coat. Looking to try the Essie gels couture top coat next since I sometimes experience shrinkage with the seche vite. I have 2 different lighting in my photos direct sunlight and shade so you see the color variation. But over all beautiful color and great formula. Slowly building a collection.

I have been using Essie Gel Nail repair and GelPolish for about five years. It is the only nailproduct I will use now.

I really love this polish! It's the only one I've ever used that actually stays on. It takes a beating and still doesn't chip. The color is a perfect fall/winter berry color.

No chips after a week. I’m not easy on my nails either….canning, gardening, and they still look amazing.

This was definitely not the Essie museum muse. The color is much light than the picture and the consistency and smell is not like any of my other Essie long wear nail polishes. I suspect that this was refilled with a different brand. Very disappointed.
