Excellent light for the price
I have only recently purchased this light and have used it twice now. Let's begin with the negative aspects...really there are not any. I see where people say it is heavy. Well, it uses several C cell batteries so it will be a bit heavy but seriously any ten year old can carry this without any difficulties what so ever. I have also read reviews where they claim the handle screwing into the body is not very secure. Again, I disagree. If you can work a screwdriver properly then you should have no difficulties mating the handle to the housing. And lastly, I have read several reviews where people claim not to be able to use the on/off/dimmer switch with gloves on...maybe if you had the hands of the Incredible Hulk you may have some issues but most people should not.On to the positives. When the light arrives it comes with a fresh set of C cell batteries. I tested mine with a meter just to be on the safe side before I dived with it.Batteries insert easily into the housing and the threads/O'ring thread easily to form a secure, watertight fit.The handle comes separate from the housing for ease of shipment. To mate you need a #2 phillips head screwdriver with a 6" shank or better.Comes with an adjustable wrist strap. The light switch easily goes from high beam/off/low beam without difficulty even with heavy gloves on. It even has a lock to keep it turned off during a dive or shipping. Easy to use.Light is very bright even on the dim mode. I was using it in 82' of water with good vis.Rugged housing. If the batteries last as long as UK claims then there is nothing to complain about at all.

Please read before buying!
Bought October 3rd 2016 and Arrived October 11 2016When it first arrived in the mail, I opened it up and assembled it right from the get go. Tested the high beam function, worked fine . Tested the low beam function, did NOT work at all. I fiddled the swinging action toggle switch to turn it in the off position and then the low beam MULTIPLE times and it worked "sometimes". I was a little discouraged that the low beam didnt work ... So i went to troubleshoot the problem.. I twisted off the lens that held the battery in the body frame, and I lightly shook the lens cover and I heard something rattle inside. So I unscrewed the 3 screws that was holding the solid state mother board behind the lens and 4 small pieces of seems to be ceramic pellets fell out. I really don't know what it was, but that was rattling inside the lens cover. So i assembled the light back together and i re-tested the low beam and high beam , both functions work perfectly fine now. I even turned it in low and high beam and shook the light to see if the light would turn off, works perfectly fine. In conclusion i really dont know what that was, but im sure some of those broken pieces was blocking a connection to the low beam ... I also dont know if that is an important piece to the equipment... I have to test it in water now to see if it is water proof.Pros: -the light it produces is really really bright-comes with an adjustable strap that fits ALL wrist sizes-comes with the batteries already inside the light-small light so very mobileCons: -low beam did not work right out of the box and I don't know if those pieces are important to the equipmentI would reccomend this product to anyone who is looking for a dive light or scuba light etc. Just be sure to check every little thing this light has to offer and don't hesitate to return the item if you are not satisfied. These are my opinions to the product. :)

Amazing light
It's by far the most amazing and the brightest light torch I ever had, It beats the guides' and instructors' much more expensive lights, it has a strong consistent beam. it's little bulky outside the water, but once you go down it's not an issue. highly recommended primary light source

Awsome Light
I am very impressed !!! I have been using LED lights for night diving for quite long time and this is one of the best lights I have ever used. The brightness is awesome for a light this size.the light switch is very convenient and has only three settings: Off, High & low, which as a snorkeler and a diver I am very comfortable with.P.S. : I am using NiMH C batteries made by Tenergy.

Oxidation
My product oxidized, from what, I'm not sure. The glass started to fog up with white crystals and appear crack but still waterproof. It still lit up ok. But then I forgot about the return being 30 days; missed the return by a weekend. Amazon with their fantastic customer service, offered me a refund.Otherwise, the illumination is better than the incandescent bulb ones, but way less than xenon. It's a broad light, in our Hawaiian waters, I say it lit about 10 feet away on average; murky, say a yard. But if you plan to dive for more than 4 hours, your best bet is to stick with LED. And this is one of the best. Several of my dive buds swear by this one. I'll probably go back to xenon myself...with all the shark bites; I'd rather see farther and emit less light.
