This really is a nice pump for a small fountain, but my concern is that the electrical cord is not three-pronged, only two-pronged. For safety (it's being used around water.....) it should be a three-pronged grounded electrical connection. Also the gauge of the electrical cord is questionable, also for safety reasons. With that said, it is a good pump at a good price, but I would suggest that it should only be used with a direct connection to a grounded outlet.

I reordered the one I was replacing - so I thought. I wasted 20$ on something that had a two-wired cord that would not help seal my concrete fountain. We didn't learn that until we had it apart. We tried to use the cord from the old one but it didn't work-out. Why was the cord different when I ordered the same thing. It is now useless.

We have water fountains for our cats and we go through so many pumps. This one is a strong pump that moves the water well. We have a drinkwell 360

Never was able to use, received with parts missing...... Sent back for refund. I am revising my review. As stated I had sent this submersible Pump back after receiving it with parts missing. With out asking, the seller Homasy contacted me via e-mail stating they would make it right. I had already received a refund, but Homasy offered to send me another without any cost to me. It arrived today and I can't believe it. I will have to say that is some great customer service when I asked them to do nothing. The pump I received as a replacement work just fine.

Only lasted 6.6 months and now is shorting out, my last pump was no longer available at the time so I tried this one and was a bad choice.

Loved that it had more pumping power than iold one so fountain water flows faster
