Manhattan Roast Empire Blend French Roast Single-Serve Keurig K-Cup Pods, Dark Roast Coffee, 60 Count

As a voracious coffee drinker I'm always looking for a good deal on coffee. I was initially attracted to the Manhattan Variety Pack because the per unit price was the lowest I could find. I'm willing to drink just about any coffee, since I go through several cups a day, so I figured I would give this pack a try. I was pleasantly surprised that the coffee was not only cheap, but really quite good! The variety of roasts and blends was a bonus as I like to drink strong coffee early in the day and lighter roasts later in the day. At home I use a Keurig 2.0 K425 and have not had any issue brewing a cup on this unit, which has been picky in the past about "Approved" K-Cups. At work I use a less discriminating older Keurig, which also has never had any issue with these K-Cups.This pack of coffee comes with 4 unique roasts / blends each with a distinct, unique and pleasant flavor:Times Roast: A light roast coffee with a smooth, even taste. Makes for a great afternoon cup.Liberty Brew: A medium roast coffee with a full flavor though not too acidic. Great for the 10AM meetingsEmpire Blend: A dark roast with strong aroma and flavor, perfect for the 8AM start of the work dayChrysler Brew: A dark and extra bold cup with good kick, a little bite in flavor and full body. My go to cup for the drive to the gym in the morning or to the office.The variety of flavors is great for our household too as my wife prefers a medium to strong cup in the morning as her only coffee and with the size of this pack she has the choice of several brews and blends to meet her need, while I have all day variety for myself. I plan to continue buying this product and would recommend it to other coffee drinkers.I will add that I personally take the time to strip and rise the covers of K-Cups along with the bottoms for recycling and found these are no more difficult to do so with than other brands.

I really enjoy this coffee and have been ordering it for a year and a half. The box always arrives promptly and in good shape.the coffee is always fresh and a good value.

Finally a great coffee in a K-cup. as a real coffee snob, I recognize good coffee when I taste it. This is probably then best coffee I have ever had, perfect blend of aroma and taste without the bitter aftertaste. I am on my second case and hooked forever.

I enjoyed all the flavors in this variety pack , but for some reason the Empire blend always seemed to " not brew very well " most of them ended up getting dumped because of all the grounds that were forced out of the top of the K cup , not sure why this issue was unique to just the Empire blend , but all the rest did fine . I will purchase again because of the price and the great flavors .Update , after emailing the company about the issues with the Empire blend K cups , they were very receptive to the problems I was having and issued me a partial refund , more than what I wanted , and also said that the issues with the cups was being addressed .I will buy these again .

We loved the overall flavor of the samples and it is good coffee. Sadly we will NOT be ordering again. The problem is after brewing we ended up with coffee grounds floating in the brew and at least 1/4" inch of grounds in the bottom of our cup every time, every "blend". My take is the coffee is so finely ground it allows the grounds to leak into the brew.

Make sure you get the "new" flavor. I ordered a box and was very disgusted by the lack of flavor. I contacted customer service after they contacted me to follow up. They quickly shipped out a box of their new and improved coffee and it is AMAZING! I would reorder in a heartbeat but an afraid I may get the old batch again which sits unused because it has zero flavor. I love customer service and they stand behind their product 100%. I gave 4 stars because I want the awareness out there that there are two Manhattan Roast coffee flavors and if you get the dark water looking with zero flavor contact customer service. They will make it right. All in all the second box was dark and strong just what I was hoping for! My husband and I are coffee snobs and it is tough to find something that is deep enough for us short of French press.

Got the Variety pack I'm an all day coffee drinker. So tested out each one I defiantly had my doubts with the mix reviews and the Price is almost unbeatable. I found the Dark and Bold variety extremely smooth.. The medium had a smoky flavor to it and the light was actually enjoyable for a light roast. Now the only downside is tring to decide between the Dark and the Bold to keep ordering. Overall good experience

Excellent flavor and outstanding customer service.2017.11.01 - Follow-up. When I wrote my original review I commented about the flavor, which was accurate. I also commented about the customer service, which was accurate at the time. I made the comment about customer service because they had offered to send a free box of coffee to me because a high percentage of the K-cups I purchased did not work as designed. Many of the K-cups did not allow water to flow through and into the coffee cup. This caused water and coffee ground to be pushed out the top of the K-cup. When I spoke with customer service the customer service representative acknowledged they were aware of a defect that caused some K-cups not to work with some K-cup brewers. They offered to send another box of coffee to me after they had corrected the manufacturing issue. As of today's date, I have not received the replacement box of coffee. The original purchase was in February of 2017.

Excellent coffee, especially for the price!

I prefer a dark roast coffee and this is a freshly roasted bold tasting coffee. The freshness is displayed by the curved tops on the pods.

It’s certainly strong like I like coffee to be, but some cups were a bit powdery

I received my coffee. When I opened it more than half the pods had burst open and the rest would pop open if I put them in my coffee maker. Not returnable. Waste of money
