PROS:BLK & BOLD blend - This blend has a taste I would describe as a medium roast. The packaging states: Blend-Lemon, Bell Pepper Full BodiedCONS:This is my 1rst order and it was wrong. I ordered whole bean and got ground.The seller states this is non-returnable, so buyer beware that you don't get stuck like I did with the wrong non-returnable productThe UPC label states whole bean so it's mislabeled. I'll guess the picker scanned this pkg and picked it based on UPC codeThere is no roasting date but their is an expiration date of 2 years from now. Don't want to drink 2 year old coffeeThere is no one-way valve on pkg to release carbon dioxide build up and keep out air. If you order ground I would think this is a must haveUnfortunately I am only using a french press and this grind is much too fine for it. The 1rst cup pours okay but the 2nd cup pour takes a long time getting thru the fine grounds. I did order again and got whole beans this time BUT I really don't care for the taste. Will not be ordering again

I am devoted to reducing the amount of runs I make to go get coffee from a shop (unless it's Black-owned). It's costly when I can easily prepare it at home. This coffee is DELICIOUS. My first order here is the Dark Roast and the taste of pepper at first scared me. HOWEVER, it is so rich and delicious. I typically drink my coffee with creamer, but I am reducing the amount of times I do that because the natural flavor is so good. I can't wait to try more kinds of coffee from this brand, as well as the teas! I highly recommend! Use your dollars wisely and support this black-owned business!!! You will not be disappointed.

Just French pressed this coffee and drinking it black. It is EXCELLENT. Very smooth and tasty, not dark, not heavy. There’s no burn. No kick. No tummy ache. AND supporting Black enterprise. Will be buying again and promoting on my FB page.

I was on a mission to make purchases from Black-owned independent business and this company appeared in my searches. I was pleased to find it available from Amazon. The coffee is very good and I'm not an expert but I like the taste. The product is a great value and the company's mission is one I support.

The BLK & Bold coffee was a perfect way to start my morning. The La Guadalupe, Honduras light roast was smooth and full of flavor. I normally do a lot of "doctoring up" of my morning coffee - adding flavored creams and syrup. Doing so was completely unnecessary with this brand. The smell of the hot coffee was divine, and everyone in the room was asking about what I was drinking.

This is a good cup of coffee and it's not easy to find that these days no matter how much you pay. I've tried the gamut of "high end"" coffees and usually don't repurchase. I would repurchase this.

Yum yum yum! Great flavor and taste, and you can certainly taste hints of the flavors listed on the packaging. We found our new morning coffee routine! You won’t regret buying this coffee.

The flavor was weird and reminded me of hay or grass. I’m out $25. I gave one bag away and haven’t checked back yet The other bag I drank only with a strong chocolate raspberry coffee and a three to one ratio of beans. Very unpleasant as probably was very old.I will try this company again and hopefully get some good coffee and if I don’t I will ask for money back. One more try is worth it since this is a company with excellent intentions.
