I like this to be able to use it for dishes to drip into the other end of my garden sink.

I've actually purchased one of these before and I knew it would work great for a small space. I recently had to take a rather small city studio to deal with medical issues and I needed simplicity. In this studio there's a single tub sink right next to the stove. If I didn't have a rolling butcher block I think I would be stuck with only sandwiches! So knowing that I like this design I found a good sturdy one with silicone edging on Amazon. I think that's the key. I think some of the cheaper ones do not have this. This does.Yes, you can use it as a trivet if you want to but I never have. I know the rods could take it but that's one thing I have plenty of. I don't recall seeing anyone point this out but this is so compact you can actually roll it if you wanted to put it away in a drawer but what I often do is folded in half and it's the perfect size for just one or two of your favorite coffee mugs or a bento box. I've even done this with the previous what I had when I had a dishwasher. We all have that favorite mug that we don't want to put in the dishwasher as we want to use it time and time again.So these are not glamour shots, but I just attached to photos one with it full in full span and the other one folded in half when I just have one or two items. The saucepan is 2qt for size (also Amazon).Make sure you check your measurements of your sink. Seems like most modern sinks at least in smaller kitchens, are this size so the 17in fits perfectly... But if you don't settle this right it can fall into the sink. I've narrowly avoided this a couple of times but you get used to just checking.Another reason I love this design is I've always thought that countertop dish racks just looks scuzzy. I've tried bamboo, I've tried steel, to me they always look like they need a good scrub. Cleaning this is as simple as wiping with a sponge if you start to see water marks, of course stainless steel and silicone resist stains so this should remain looking great for years to come. I love this rack. It is sturdy, and I love the way it rolls up when not in use. It is great for washing vegetables and fruits and for drying dishes. Great purchase.

Perfect fit for any custom size sink

I bought these to keep a curious kitten out of the sink and they do the job fairly well. He has figured out how to get under them, but putting a heavy object on top solves that problem. I’ve also run these through the dishwasher a few times and they still seem great! The best part is how they can be easily rolled up and put aside or under the sink when not needed.

Absolutely love this! So easy to roll up and place under the sink til I need it.

I'm still trying to find any cons on this product. It's a great buy!
