Easy to replace my broken original the first one sent to me didn’t work but they were quick to replace and my fridge is up and running nice and cold definitely a lot better price than to call a repair person or buy a new fridge definitely recommend using YouTube videos for your fridge issues

Listen to the negative reviews - started smoking and almost caught fire
Like many of the other reviews on here have stated, this relay starter began smoking and nearly caught on fire after I installed it. BEWARE

why many refrigerators stop. the start up capacitor needs to be replaced
I come home from a trip and the ice in the freezer has partilly melted and I wish I coulkd have had the simple part overnighted but no point crying over spoiled milk the fridge is working again

Cheaper than paying a repair man
Cheaper than paying a repair man or buying a new fridge. Unless of course the capacitor is shot, in that case this won’t help.

Not compatible as stated
Add says it’s compatible with part number Whirlpool W10197427. My plug wouldn’t plug into this product. The electrical spades also included won’t go into the product either. Everything looks like it should work otherwise. I ended up taking my bad unit apart to see what was inside. I took this product apart as well and placed the new components into my original housing and everything worked fine. This product clay housing needs to fit the electrical plug properly, but doesn’t.
