Make sure it works right away.
(Switch copy) Bought this as a gift for my daughters. They only got to open it lately, but the code wouldn't work. Did some research and contacted nintendo, they let us know the code is for the wrong region and they can't do anything to help us. So we're stuck with a useless code. I thought it a better gift if still sealed, but if I'd have checked it months ago then Amazon would have to have fixed it. Too late now.This series of games is one of my kids' favorites. It's a shame this copy isn't usable.So 5 stars for the game. 0 stars for the copy I received.

Received the item, the code was invalid, with Error Code: 2813-0055 showing in the Nintendo e-shop.

Not for the United States
If your Nintendo Switch was purchased in the United States; DO NOT BUY THIS ONE! There is a compatibility alert for the item, which we did not see. Even if we did see it, the alert states that maybe certain features would not be available for this item in the United States. Instead, we were not able to download the game at all and we got the following message. " The item corresponding to the code you entered is not currently available. Please check the release date. If the product is not yet released, please try again after that date." Hopefully our return will be successful. I hope this helps United States buyers to be aware.
