For adults who prefer a short read
This little book of only fifty pages plus illustrations gives a very concise account of the battle of Trafalgar. The descriptions of naval warfare are not for the faint hearted, but we also have something of the political context in which the battle was fought. You do need a magnifying glass to read the names of the warships in the frontispiece, but they’re all there, including the mighty Victory, the Temeraire, the enormous Santisima Trinidad, and the particularly unfortunate Achille.Once you have read that you may want to go on to read ‘Nelson Navy & Nation’ from the National Maritime Museum, or even to visit the Nelson exhibition there at Greenwich.

Great Introduction to the Battle
I brought this book for my nephew so that he could understand the battle and it proved a great success on a subject that I have a lot of knowledge on. He now does not think his uncle is such an “Anorak”?
