Works Great - Ditch the remote, use dimmable transformer and dimmer switch
While these cabinet lights are great, the idea of mounting a remote control to have to dim them seemed a little cheap / unprofessional to me. Through trial and error, I found the best package to dim these in a professional way. This is going to cost a little extra, about $25 for the transformer and another $20 for the switch, but well worth it as long as you know what you're doing with fishing walls and cutting in boxes. I'm an electrician by trade so it wasn't terrible for me. From the cabinet light box you will not use the transformer, remote control, remote control controller, or the on/off switch. Again this almost doubles the cost of just the lights, but will provide a MUCH better product.See the drawing attached and the links below for what I purchased to make this work. The slide dimmer will dim the lights in a smooth fashion, not like dim to 50%, 40%, 30%, etc. But a smooth 50%, 49%, 48% and so on. Through the adjustment on the dimmer the lights can be brought so dim that you can barely see that they are on. I adjusted it up a little from there and use the cabinet lights as a night light.Absolutely no flickering, no hum, just perfect smooth dimming with using a wall switch. I used a setup with 12 of the under cabinet lights. Here is the link for the dimmable transformerhttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B075Y2RFTD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Here is the link for the dimmer switchhttps://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A92MQ38/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Over cabinet lighting - makes the kitchen look custom
Our kitchen can be a little dark in Winter. Our cabinets are nice, but they don't go all the way up to the ceiling. I found a center point where there was a power outlet (over the stove at the microwave in our case). I started from the center because that's the way the product is designed. (Note: they don't all plug one into the next in a series like Xmas lights. Each one plugs individually into a central power box.) You plug into the power outlet on the wall and then on either side you can plug in 6 lights. I plugged one into the little power box and found it hard to remove once connected. So my tip would be to place your puck lights were you want them (not connected) and then work back toward the power connectors at the center. There are also extender cords included so you can easily get from the furthest points back to the center where your power is. They look great at 50% brightness, now in Summer. 25% is very dim and might be nice for an evening setting. We might only use the 100% brightness in the dark of Winter. We got the warm (yellowish) color because our kitchen has warm tones. Very, very nice. It makes our kitchen look so much more custom. Huge improvement for small effort and price.

There made in China
I'm very disappointed to find that they are made in China. FYI I will pay more for American made products.

lightly more expensive but it is worth it.
I bought two other types of cabinet light for my kitchen and for built-in oversize book cases. Although this is slightly more expensive of all, but you get what you paid for. the 12 pucks come with plenty of extra long wiring. the best feature is the two central wiring electric distribution units that connect all 12 pucks together while allowing end distribution flexibilities.I would buy it again for another big project.

Good product. Worth the purchase
Great lights - work well- easy to mount/install - I did predrill through edge of cabinet boxes for cabling. - the 12 pack was great as I lit below the cabinets and even lit above. - make sure if selecting these you understand you cable back to 2 hubs (think an octopus) not light to light. Happy with quality , ease of settings, and once set I hooked up to a Alexa linked plug and they turn off and on with no issues
