Don’t use these lids!
I was canning pickles and these lids distended about an inch above the jar and were cracking an popping like the lid was going to blow off. After they cooled (photo) they still have a bunch of dents and distortions in the lid.This was a dangerous situation, if the lid would have blown off I would have been badly burned. I can’t use this food because it didn’t seal properly and has dents in the lid.I’m an experienced canner and have never seen anything like this before. This was my first and last time using canning lids that aren’t name brand!I’ll have to throw away the rest of these lids and I bought 24 each of wide and regular.
