Extremely stable, great price easy to assemble and disassemble
I was a bit skeptical because it was such a great price. It was great and very stable. We were hiking in Sedona for a week. I had my third back surgery and am still experiencing some foot drop. This is exactly what i needed. It folded up so small, yet it was a great help with my stability. I was able to hike 3/4 of the way up Bell Rock, first time ever. 5+++stars.

50 miler approved
50 miler approved. I just ran the blood rock 50 miler and these were a lifesaver. I have other poles that I used to hike Mount Kilimanjaro a couple years ago but I would regularly have to tighten the one and they were a mixed set so the weight was a little off. I bought one and I was satisfied so I bought a second one and use them for a very challenging 50 mile race that involved 15,000 feet of elevation change. The poles stayed tight and secure the whole time whether I was running with them or using them to push off of core make heavy descent easier. I sprained my ankle at one point and used the polls heavily to distro my way wait and until the naproxen kicked in. I did lose one of the plastic Discs at one point but that’s common with all polesThe wire inside is thick but feels flimsy until you extend them. I did not have any issues with it. The other caution is it’s unique in the pushbutton lock and I could see how someone who is very frail may have a hard time Collapsing them but that said they were much more secure than Similar sized ones that rely on twisting. Very pleased with my purchase

Great for what I needed it for
So Im in line for a total knee replacement, but due to covid, that's been put off till who knows when. till then, I limp. I have hiking sticks, but wanted one that collapsed into a compact size to keep in the car. this is perfect - it actually will fit in the storage compartment in my door. Im a big guy and this seems sturdy enough to fit my needs. might buy a couple more of them.

Lightweight and Compact
I'm very glad I bought this walking stick before leaving for Peru and Macchu Picchu. It came with 2 rubber tips, which was a requirement for a walking stick to be used in Macchu Picchu. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to assemble it the first time but it was a breeze after that. The stick was plenty sturdy for walking. (I don't know that I'd have relied on it for a trek on rugged trails). And you didn't need to buy two of them and pay over $100, such as what was available at a well known sporting good store.

Compact, sturdy, reliable.
This is a well-made hiking pole. I have it in the car at all times just in case. It is a sturdy hiking pole and I recommend it to anyone who needs a bit of stability while just walking (not necessarily hiking).

Second Pole
Although troubled by some of the reviews, I ordered this anyway to see how it stacked up against another sectional pole I use and some Nordic type poles that I ordered. Straight out of the package, I was impressed. The assembly was easy. I like the handle and the strap is actually comfortable. The adjustment for height is limited, but I knew this when I purchased it. The pole seemed to flex when assembled and I was concerned that it might bend or snap. I have now used this pole multiple times and have had to use it to hold my weight on rocky slopes, and when climbing up creek sides and for leverage getting over fallen trees and have no concerns about its strength now. Form most non-pack hikes, I use one pole, and this is it.

flimsy, doesn't even work
The media could not be loaded. this product won't even work. when you put it together, the inside just remains loose and flimsy.

Difficult
This comes in 3 connected parts, folded together, connected by an inner stretchy cord. The parts slide together easily, but to me it looks like there is supposed to be a button near the first connection that fits in a slot like an umbrella does, per the instructions so that it stays together, like an upright cane. My husband and I tried for 45 minutes to get it together. Getting support is by email only. This isn't worth the hassle. Will be returning it. Update: The company did reach out to me to help. Unfortunately, I had already left for my trip that I needed it for but I just wanted to put it out there that the company did try to help.
