Order arrived on time and well packaged. Very pleased with this bedspread, goes superbly with my bedroom furnishings. Good quality material. Quite thick but not too heavy. Having recently changed my bedroom colour scheme to gold, this matches in perfectly. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Needs refreshing a couple of times in the tumble dryer to remove excess fluffKitty approved and I understand why as it's a lovely tactile feel & great to snuggle under when the duvet is too warm to use, or just for a little nap with the cats (true catnapping!)Definitely worth getting.

Firstly, this is nothing like the cotton candlewicks from years ago which were made of stronger stuff when every piece of fabric was filled with cotton tufts. This bedspread has a lined pattern, and the tufts are down every other line, the rest being bare fabric inbetween. It looked nice placed on the bed but then I noticed fluff starting to come off everywhere.....very light fluff which clung to garments and carpet.....really hard to remove. The sun coming through the window even showed up tiny dust like particles...just floating around and not appearing to land anywhere! Surely bad for asthmatics? Even after two washings and tumble drying it shed, and after hanging out on the washing line I had to pick up all the bits off the lawn which could easily have been mistaken for loft insulation! The label says cotton but I've never seen anything like this before. Seller responded promptly offering partial refund but the bedspread is totally useless to me, having caused extreme annoyance and is now in the bin.

Not as good a quality as my old one but acceptable. Have washed it and it shrunk very slightly. It sheds bits as I found out when I draped a black coat on it. Guess it will stop shedding, eventually
