Been using three of these now 24/7 for over 2 years and they still work great. My tarantulas and scorpions rest next to the pads when they need some heat.

Working well on the side of a 10 gallon tank for a Pacman frog. Room is a bit warm to begin with also though.

I was tipped to this product by a member of my art club to use underneath the paper in my colored pencil drawings to soften and melt/blend the colors to create soft and beautiful effects. It's a cost-effective addition to my art studio!

Use this thing for my ball pythons tank setup. Works well. Well made. Would buy another! Package was great also.

I have only been using it for a couple days, and it has been fine. I know these things sometimes have a short life before they stop working, so if it dies on me I will update this review.

The pad is a good size for my glass terrarium tarantula tank. The thermostat that I got with it was junk. It did not properly control the temperature. Thankfully I did not need the thermostat to use the pad. I applied the pad to the back glass of the tank, the stick is very strong. It gives my tarantula a place to go that is warmer and she can also get away from it. The pad itself does not get super hot, not sure how well it would work on the bottom to heat through the substrate. I would purchase the pad again but would not waste my money on the thermostat.

Good heat. Didn’t read the description completely. Didn’t realize it is adhesive.I like a mobile heat pad, so I haven’t used the adhesive part yet. Came in handy though. Used it on new born puppies in an ice storm. Used it on an orphaned hours old baby goat. Perfect.Now it’s going under my cockroach colony to keep them happy and warm so they can reproduce as feeder insects.Best use of a reptile heat pad ever! I don’t even have reptiles!

Check your Temps, varies +/- 4 degrees

I don't know if I got a defective heating pad or if they're all like this, but mine does not stay stuck to the underside of my tank. I'm using tile flooring in my tank, so it's too heavy for me to lift the tank and stick it back on. I'm going to need to take everything out and try to stick or tape it back on. Which is a HUGE hassle, I just got my leopard gecko last week and I don't want to disturb him and have to take him out of his home before he's comfortable here. I'm just really frustrated and disappointed in this heating pad.

I ordered the 8x12 inch pad. The description says it’s 16 watt but the package says it’s 20 watts. Either way it’s too hot, it’s so hot I can’t even hold my hand on it for more than a second. My digital temperate gun says it’s 137 degrees F, which is too hot for any reptile. I suppose it might be ok if you have 6 inches of substrate but then it just kills the humidity and I’m honestly worried it’s going to catch fire or something. Do yourself a favour and get a zoo med or exo terra brand.

I’ve purchased multiple heat pads and they’ve all worked great! My snakes are happy and eating and that’s all that matters!The quality compared to petstore (in my opinion) is much better. But I live in a small community so our stock is crap. I find it cheaper as well.Win-win

Was gonna use this for my hermit crabs but the first thing I saw was a warning label that states the heat pad contains dangerous chemicals that are known that cause cancer and to wash your hands after touching it. WHY would I use that for my pets??? I also have a bird and other animals and I’m not risking their lives over this product. Submitted a return request as soon as I read it.
