Everything about this costume is a hoot and a half!We bought this largely due to it being unisex and that it could be reused by either me or my husband at events. I'm 5'5" and 3xl; he's 6'4" and XL mainly because he's six-foot-freaking-four (but otherwise lean). It was a tighter squeeze for me, but I fit. The costume looked too saggy on my body and it was pretty clear that I'd have to do some alterations to accommodate the size. My husband was a little too tall, but covering the top of the pants with his shirt took care of most of the aesthetic issue. It still is an awkward fit for him. The legs of the costume looked much nicer on him as the material was more stretched out; on me, it looked frumpy. It looks like he has a Halloween costume and I have a back-up if I ever need one.The batteries get surprisingly hot, which makes sense as the fan REALLY gets going to inflate this thing. Neither the heat nor battery pack was bothering, but it is important to note for safety reasons. Also, be careful with the placement of the fan and the fabric. It took a bit of adjustment, but the first time one of us tried on the outfit, the airflow had been partially blocked. Once we tightened cords and repositioned textiles the costume inflated much better.We let our toddler play with the hat as we plan to use our own. This feels a little too Old West Hobo and not enough High-Ho Silver.So there's some perspective on two extremes of height and weight. Hope this helps you figure out if the sizing is right for you. :)

The media could not be loaded. I wore this costume on a 17 mile hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out. I dressed as one of the infamous Grand Canyon “mules” on Halloween. I wasn’t sure how this type of costume would withstand the brutal conditions of the hike but it held up perfectly inflated and fan endured the 7 hr day using a power bank.

The costume looks just like the picture, but the fan is weak and doesn’t fully inflate the horse head. Very cheaply made.

I am happy with this costume. I am 5' 10", 200 lbs, 33" waist and have more of a belly than I want to admit to. This fit me great and would fit someone even larger than I am. It goes on like a big pair of pants. There is elastic around the ankles and a drawstring around the waist. The fan takes 4 AA batteries (not included) and it does a good job of inflating and keeping the costume inflated. Since the fan is circulating air all of the time the costume is not hot. The instructions say that the fan should run 6 to 7 hours on one set of batteries. The only thing I did not like was the hat. The hat is made out of the same polyester material as the rest of the costume. I went to a local costume store and bought a different hat.
