Bought new life to some older jeans

I seen a video suggesting there was similar products that screwed onto clothes without needing a button punch.I settled on these. Good variety and quality.But I HAD to make a hole. Used on denim & thinner cotton skirt but material is too thick for threads to catch (and would ruin material anyway).Very fiddly to fit the 3 I used but are still in place post laundry and a big lunch belly!Moved waist band about 1.5”. Any more and it starts to pull in an odd way. Glad I got them! :)

Daughter popped a button off her jeans, two minutes later and they were fixed. Told her she has another 19 chances of repair!

I have tried the replacement buttuns where you use a hammer to fix them on several times but they just don't work. Even with glue added. These are still attached after 2 weeks and several washes so very happy I can wear my favourite jeans again!

I have often bought hammer in buttons for jeans or trousers so that I can attach button end braces which I much prefer to the clip end type.When purchasing these I assumed they were the usual hammer in type which have always served the purpose well. Unfortunately I found them to be screw in not hammer. However much I tried to tighten the screws these buttons came loose and pop off. Not good if you're out and about wearing braces!If you want buttons which are secure, ensure you buy the hammer in type not the screw!

I had bought a pair of jeans online that came with a missing button, and I was going to hand them to a clothes repair service before realising that there’s already a pre-made hole for the jean button. Ordered these and they fit perfectly! They’re very easy to screw in using the tool provided and it’s been a couple of weeks without the button popping (my biggest fear when doing it myself!). I imagine it would be much harder if the jeans didn’t have a hole already so please keep that in mind. It does need to be screwed in very strongly, and it doesn’t feel as sturdy as the other original buttons (hence 4 stars), but as long as it does the job…
