Of plastic material; but strong to hold container and electric guitar with only a slight on the cleats. I plan to add a couple more cleats to ensure item stays on the wall

They are plastic cleats and don’t seem too strong. Picture pulls cleat away from the wall due to plastic bending.

They are holding up 50 lbs of shutters outside, and work great...

Cheap plastic

I purchased a 'back to the wall' toilet and the cabinet was simply a rectangular box with front and sides fixed in place. I wanted to make the front panel removable so looked around for suitable fittings. These Z-clips work perfectly. I can now slide out and in the front panel in seconds. So, nothing to do with picture hanging (which i'm sure they are great for), but also perfect for making a panel removable. Not that cheap for a few bits of plastic, but they do look pretty strong.

Hung a really heavy (18kg ) full length, art deco mirror on two of these mounts, 1 top and 1 bottom. Superbly strong and the mirror is stable as a rock. Another advantage is that, with these mounts, the mirror sits flat to the wall and doesn't hang away from the wall like a chain, or other fixings, would make it do. Where have these fixing been all my life?!! I will always use these now. Fantastic solution.

I had a very large painting that I wanted to hang in my living room, and when I saw these I decided to give it a try. They work brilliantly. Very easy to set up and sturdy.The painting I hung was approx. 4' x 6' wood framed stretched canvas...and it is holding up very very well.Still up after several months. I would purchase these again.

Measurements listed are incorrect. Listing shows 1.96” total height when the cleats are together but the actual measurement is close to 3”. As I needed a cleat of 2” or less, I was not able to use them. Very disappointed as I was very careful when looking at my options to ensure the total height of the cleats when together was no larger than 2”.

Cannot be used to hand anything super cheap plastic that bends
