Have you ever wished a destination could be entered into your navigation radio as you're driving down the road? The cheap portable units allow entry while you're moving, so why doesn't your factory unit? Well, now you can solve that problem with the ULM from Vais Technnology!! The ULM from Vais Technology is a Navigation Unlock integration interface that 'fakes' the vehicle into thinking it isn't moving. Consequently, it allows the factory Navigation, Bluetooth and DVD features to be used by the passenger at any time. Even while the vehicle is moving. And enabling the device is simple! It is tied in to your existing steering wheel controls. Simply press the On-Hook (phone) button twice to enable or disable it. (You will need to disable it when the destination entry is complete because your position 'tracking' will not resume until the navigation system regains control. See the next paragraph for more details.) Please note that there will be a brief delay in your navigation 'tracking' once you exit out of interface mode. This happens because the vehicle didn't think it was moving. As a result, the cursor will not show you in the correct location on the map once the navigation systems regains control. The guidance voice may also say "recalculating" several times. Once the satellite picks you up again, the radio will adjust your location and navigation functions will revert to normal. This will install behind the GPS module in some vehicles. It is often located below the radio. If you are trying to locate the plug on the back of the radio and can't find it, that's the reason. Look on your GPS module instead.
