It's just water.

The soap works perfectly. We just cut little chunks off of the bar and put them in our empty soap dispensers, filled the dispensers with water and allowed the soap to dissolve. The soap suds up nicely and rinses cleanly, it isn’t too drying on my hands either. I am so happy to avoid buying another big plastic jug!

If you are expecting a gel-like soap from this, you won't get it. This makes a very thin, watery liquid soap. Even doubling up on bars will not get you where you expect to be like a store-bought liquid hand soap. If there's a break-even point between water to bar, I never figured it out. It could easily be 1/4 of the recommended ratio.As a soap, it's fine. I mean, no need to add water, right? Just rinse after you've worked it up to a lather. My wife says she doesn't like the film it leaves on her hands, but it doesn't bother me.

This is my second time ordering this hand soap paste. I use it with aluminum foaming soap dispensers and it is a full frothy foam that comes out using the 1/8th of the bar as recommended. My little one enjoys the “science experiment” of making soap herself. Definitely need a foaming soap dispenser for the full effect. And the best part is it’s unscented. Love being able to be plastic free and fragrance free while helping to kee my family’s hands clean during this pandemic.

This is a very cost effective, nice lathering and eco friendly zero waste hand soap. It needs to be used in a foaming dispenser like most similar products. I f repurposed a gallon apple cider jug by adding water and put the soap in there. When our dispensers are empty, I just shake it bit and fill them up. Other similar products to compare to the quality and zero waste features.
