Awesome Kettle
This is an awesome little kettle if you enjoy making pour over coffee. Rock solid or should I say "steel solid", perfect size, a gorgeous finish and extremely well made. This kettle far exceeds the Hario kettles I've been using for the past 10 years or so in every respect. The company who manufactures this product is really serious about quality and integrity and not just " a sale". Thanks Steel Coffee!I've been using the kettle for a couple of weeks now and stand by my first comments. It is outstanding! If you want a superior kettle for pourover coffee making, this is it! There is none other like it.Don

Lead in kettle
This product has lead in the solder (see where lead swab turned it bright red indicating the presence of lead) connecting the spout on the inside. It also has lead in the screw on the cap where the water evaporates and then drips back down into the kettle.I swabbed it with a lead test I happened to have and it turned bright red in both of those places. I swabbed multiple other places to ensure that it wasn’t the water and it came back clear.I am very disappointed. This kettle needs a strong prop65 warning for lead and production oversight. Consumers should NOT drink lead in this amounts. This is extremely dangerous and solder leaches. I made tea for my toddler several times using this kettle and drank from it myself daily for months.

Rusting
This kettle has performed admirably for 3 weeks. The stainless steel has not begun to rust like the previous kettle I bought, the handle is comfortable and sturdy, and the spout allows the water to be metered out slowly. The above was written prematurely. Now, just 2 days past the return cut-off, (32 days) the kettle has begun to rust where the spout joins the kettle body, and the bottom has deformed causing the kettle to vibrate while heating on the stove. I feel that I just paid almost $30 for renting a defective kettle for a month. Disgusted.

Everything a gooseneck kettle and a company should be...
I am overjoyed at my purchase of these stainless steel gooseneck kettle. I am just getting into the pour over coffee scene and have been doing lots of tedious research into the various components required to make the world's best cup of coffee. I was pretty much set on a gooseneck kettle selection when I saw the Steel Pour Over Gooseneck Kettle: Small Stainless Coffee and Tea Eco Friendly Stovetop Kitchen Kettles for Loose Leaf Teas or Coffees - Silver Metal No Rust Pot for Travel or Camping with Lid . Not only was this product of higher quality than most of the competition (304 18/10 stainless steel vs. 18/8...less rust possibility), but it also provides elegance to my kitchen (chrome-like appearance). Furthermore, the Lifetime Warranty sealed the deal for me as other competitor products did not contain this.Ordered and shipped via Amazon Prime. Delivered within 2-3 days. Unfortunately, my excitement fizzled upon opening the packaging to find that there was some burnishing (small scuff mark 1" long) on the neck of the spout. Knowing this was not going to affect the function of the kettle I resigned myself to my slight disappointment. The kettle however has and continues to perform flawlessly as promised. Very elegant design. Love the thermometer ready temperature holes in the lid so I can easily monitor when my water temp is perfect for starting the coffee pour over process. I have yet to experience any "boil-over". It could be that I am just watching it more closely, but I did get water to a rolling boil and all that happened was steam coming out of temp holes. It is very easy to control the flow rate of water during the pour. The handle is heat resistant but is not impervious to all heat completely and does get very warm if left on the hot stove.Much to my surprise, I received a personalized email 1 day after delivery of my product from the company, Whole Homeware inquiring if I was satisfied with my purchase and included digital product instructions if I needed it. I quickly replied to the email expressing both my excitement and slight disappointment as well as including two pictures of the small 1" scuff mark on the gooseneck spout. Less than 24 hours later I get another personalized response from Whole Homeware expressing their sincere apology for not receiving a product of pristine condition. They indicated they would send me a completely new kettle at no further cost to me. Furthermore, they instructed me not to return the product to Amazon, but to keep it so that there could be no other possible error of it getting restocked and sent to some other customer. Correspondence continued between myself and Whole Homeware. Here is a snippet of one of their responses that highlights the professionalism and dedication of customer service this company stands for."I appreciate your patience as you received something damaged! It's our number one priority that our customers are 100% satisfied. You all spend money to receive these product[s] ... [and] you should get exactly what you were hoping for--if not more! That new Kettle is headed your way! Please let me know if you need anything else or have any questions.Happy New Year! :)"I only wish all of my purchases through Amazon with other companies were as positive as this. You sometimes cannot beat the small family owned business that has customer service as their number #1 priority! Thank You Whole Homeware!!!

Steel Coffee, Pour Over Coffee Kettle
Exceeded my expectations! Very well made (robust construction, clean welds, beautiful fit and finish). Allows for precise pouring from a trickle to a stream of hot water. I purchased this to use with a new stainless steel drip filter and a V60 Hario drip station setup, and it works perfectly. The kettle holds 4 cups, but it is an ideal size for making a couple of cups or a small carafe of pour over drip coffee. The product comes with a lifetime warranty and a money back guarantee. A really nice product, even the packaging is simple and clever.
