Q: Are these composite toe can’t seem to get a genuine answer.

Having had these and gave them away for two reasons. Number one no protective toe at all. Number two they ran small in their sizing.

Q: do they have a steel shank?

Actually they do have steel toe but you have to special order them I know two guts who have them
