I bought these specifically to use for the campfire to keep my marshmallows from falling off once their insides got gooey enough. I also use them for full strawberries that are coated with a layer of marshmallow fluff. Again, to keep from falling off once cooked. The device does that job well. It has a thumb roller to turn your cooked item without physically turning the stick 180 degrees to do it. My son wishes they could be a little longer and I have to agree. But they do the job and do it well as long as the fire is not too intense

We have used twice an are good length and kids love them.

I thought these would be great for stopping marshmallows from falling off the skewer and falling into the fire. But instead the skewers tines are too close to the center poll and the marshmallows get stuck to it and it's hard to get it off the skewer once it is roasted. Might be fine for hot dogs but I didn't buy them for that. Also the handles aren't very sturdy.

Nice quality that are easy to use... even for the kids
