Let's face it. We only get this pair of gloves for Halloween costume. Whether you're dressing up as Tuxedo Mask, a butler, or Luigi, you'll need some white gloves.But you don't wanna leave yourself unable to use your smart phone while in costume! So you gotta buy a pair of these touch screen compatible gloves.Except, they're not.Well, to be exact, they rarely ever work. It's incredibly embarrassing that you pay $8 and have this not even work half the time. Let me be clear--saying this works only 50% of the time is already being generous.The gloves themselves have anti-slip, grippy surface on the inner palms. That I like. You can grab and hold onto things like your phone, keys, or whatnot very easily and successfully. Accessing your phone via touch screen, as advertised, is another story.Firstly, only your thumb and index fingers have metallic fabric sewed in. So only those fingers will be able to navigate (supposedly) your phone menu. Why not all 10 fingers? Why the confusing design? Are we saving a lot of money and labor by skipping the other 6 fingers?Second, the touch screen fabric surface area is small. And when you don't wear the gloves just right, or touch the screen at the correct angle, you won't be able to do anything on your phone. During testing, it took me approximately 3 to 4 tries on average to access an app via tapping on the icon on my phone. And I have an iPhone 13 Pro, it shouldn't be this hard.Overall, I am only keeping these because my costume demands for them. And since they work at least half the time, it's better than not at all. But I do anticipate myself taking these off often when not taking pictures or videos in character.Currently, I do not see any alternative on Amazon to purchase (sans the winter ones), so this will have to do this year. Unfortunately. But anything other than a 1-star rating would be cruel to myself as a consumer.

The finger length is lacking.

I was not sure what to expect but the gloves (I got the white touch screen ones) were fantastic! I was worried because some comments mentioned only the left glove had touch screen material on the finger tips of the thumb and index finger but in fact both did.The material is great so far, the give a good grip, fit snug but not too tight, and the touch screen finger tips work well.100% would absolutely buy again.

I was so pleased to find out that somebody had finally created a way to use your phone while you have your white gloves on. When you're doing honor guard duties, there's a lot of standing around and doing nothing. You have to be a uniform, but you can't check your phone without taking your gloves off. You never know when you're going to get an important text from your spouse or kids you are spouse or kids, so this invention is amazing. Thank you to those who invented it.
