Great Value
Good sound. Amazing on how well it pulls in stations. Easy pocket size. If I lost this one I would get another.Overall this is a great value. Compares favorably to much more expensive radios.So, why only 4 stars? Channel log is only automatic, and adds all channels. Can't directly jump to a known channel. No battery indication. Need a new battery when all you get is static. Does not retain setting on battery change.

not as advertised
Reception is good, and the size is perfect. But it is set up for chinese radio not ours. The tuning is wrong on the AM and that is what we purchased it for. The FM is fine, but not the AM. Had to send it back.

It picked up FM great, but AM was practically non-existent - many local ...
It picked up FM great, but AM was practically non-existent - many local stations were either off-channel (faint, static-y), or were accompanied with a piercing squelch (likely poor antenna shielding). Alarm worked great, too. I bought it for AM (football) - had plenty of volume. Just didn't work out for me.
