Durable and comfortable
These are my go to gloves. They are very comfortable and thick enough that I am able to grab hard edged items, wood, 1/8-1/4 inch steel and not have it bite into my hands. That’s gloves are also just thick enough for me to grab those items without my trigger finger locking over which allows me to maintain my grip.Absolutely recommend and own several 1/2 pairs, since I keep losing the right hand glove.

Exceeded Expectations
My brother and my co-worker liked mine so much that they decided to keep them! Haha Seriously though, everyone who's tried mine love 'em as much as I do. They're fantastic. The perfect blend of toughness, comfort, and workability.

Good thick gardening gloves
We have a few tough plants with thorns. These are flexible for gardening but also protect

Paying for a name, but have held up surprisingly well after a year of frequent use.
Having tried almost every style of glove Mechanix makes, I was really hoping this would be The One, the glove that offers both durability and comfort at the same time. Like the other Original models I've used, the first thing you notice when trying these on is how prominent the stitching is in the fingers. With these being leather instead of fabric, the stitching becomes not just prominent, but down right uncomfortable, at least before breaking them in. Sadly, being leather, that aspect of the design isn't likely to improve too dramatically, so raw patches or blisters on your fingers should probably be expected until your skin adapts, if you intend to wear these for hours at a time doing pounding or jarring work activities. On the plus side, being leather (more like suede) they provide a much better grip than Mechanix fabric palmed gloves. And the base of the fingers doesn't practically cut into your finger circulation like their leather impact models can before undergoing a rather painful break-in period. For the money they're asking Mechanix needs to do better, whether it's a case of manufacturing inconsistency or just plain bad design. With other models I've found there can be a significant difference between the fit and particularly the interior stitching between two different pair of the exact same glove. Though said inconsistency seems to affect entire batches, as tried on every pair in a store and found them to all feel the same, but then ordered another online and it felt considerably better. Their original line seems to be the worst. In terms of finger stitching, I don't think that minimizing how much the stitching rubs on your fingers was even a consideration of the design. They've improved that aspect in their Mpact line though.Comparing models, the Mechanix 4x material gloves I have were much more comfortable initially, but as those aren't genuine leather they won't hold up as well as these, nor will they provide as solid a grip. Though the 4x material models do have a little better grip than Mechanix standard original models and tactical mpact models, both of which offer very little grip, being all fabric palms.I would still recommend these to anyone who needs a durable, relatively form fitting work glove, who doesn't plan to use them with any kind of masonry application, as there aren't too many gloves that can hold up to that kind of abuse, these included.I'd recommend trying them on in stores first. But a lot of Mechanix models can be hard to find in stores, and this seems to be one of the hardest. I'd searched for months, fearing a blind-buy online, considering Mechanix manufacturing inconsistencies. I even asked Mechanix if they could help me locate a store, but they could only name major chains that carry their product; they couldn't narrow it down to any one model. Lowes had the best in store selection I found, but it was pitifully inadequate compared to amazon, which appears to carry them all.081018 Update: I don't wear them every day, but over the past year I've put these gloves through a good deal of use and abuse, mostly with wood (splitting, gathering, carrying, burning). These things have held up surprisingly well even to handling hot coals and stirring partly burnt logs in camp fires, logs that were hot enough to burn my skin through the gloves, yet didn't damage the leather in the glove itself, nor has the stitching come loose. I alternate between these and several other Mechanix and Ironclad glove models, but find I turn to these more often than not, due to the added grip of the leather and added comfort over Mechanix leather MPact model.

My 2nd Pair!
I literally wore out my first pair after about 4 years. They are durable, long-lasting and comfortable.

More durable
I have been wearing motocross gloves while working on things for 30 years. Have been using mechanix wear gloves for over 10 years. The original gloves are great for shooting but tend to wear out quickly while doing outdoor chores. These are thicker material and do last much longer. I also wash my gloves frequently in the wash machine.

great gloves!
I had always made due with cheapest gloves I could find. On a whim, I saw these and ordered even though they were more expensive than I would have normally have spent. I use these all the time for outdoor work either at home or while camping or hauling stuff with the truck. These fit me very well and give confidence to handle items without worrying about cuts or getting dirty. I bought these in April of 2020 and am just now looking to get another pair.

1 Year Honest Review: Lasted me beyond a year and Breathable.
I use these gloves for just about anything I do from yard work, fencing, to mechanical repairs. They served me well and continue to hold up after a year worth of usage. They’re comfortable, breathable and break in nicely to the wear. The gloves are made of Suede marketed as “Durahide”, canvas and a thick breathable mesh on the top of the hand. The suede will help with grip, but absorb just about any moisture you come across including grease, mud, dirt, water, acetone, etc. These things will speed up the process of destroying your gloves. While buying these gloves I saw loads of bad reviews in the comments, this can be due to customers receiving defective items or just plain out scamming the seller because I can tell you from my experience these were outstanding and held up to the abuse and are still like new after a year.

Not up to standard
Bought in March 2022, stitching on the finger has gone in July 2022. Guarantee period for malfunctioning items is 90 days after date of purchase, stitching came loose after 117 days. Shockingly short guarantee period but I can see why now. Only wore them a few times for little jobs until this week. The last three days I wore them 5 hours a day renovating a house. Nothing sharp to handle, just normal jobs. I really liked them, even for that price even though I'm not a professional builder. Comfortable and protective. But I won't recommend them due to bad and flimsy manufacturing. They don't last. I can't comment on the leather as that should not have deteriorated in this short time frame but I am shocked at the abysmal failure of what should have been a good and decent product.
