(UPDATED 8 Jan 2017) Good At Maintaining Temp, Not Quite Silent, ECO Function Modulates Power Use & Saves Money
For my use the DeLonghi TRRS0715E Radiant heater was just the right thing and I'm very happy with it. The situation is my upstairs spare bedroom/workroom is unheated. If I leave the door open to the stairs I get enough natural convection to get it up into the high 40's on the coldest days and into the 50's on most average winter days. It's about 220 square feet in my cape style home just one room upstairs with hip walls.I am not trying to warm the room quickly; I'm trying to maintain a minimum temperature between 60 and 65 degrees where it's very comfortable for me to sleep. Here is what I like:+ The instructions were clear and well written+ Eco function modulate heat output and energy use automatically+ It is *almost* silent for me. I had no loud pops or noises associated with it heating up or cooling off+ It never gets too hot to touch+ 24h timer is nice but I don't use it+ Thoughtful wrap for the power cord+ The Anti-frost function can turn it on automatically at 5 centigrade+ Overheat shutoff (if you have kids that might throw their clothes over the radiator it won't start a fire).+ Nice wheels work well on my hardwood floorsI don't really have any down sides for this heater. It does just what I want and in a way that saves power too. I'm very pleased and it's definitely 5 stars for me.Update 8 Jan 2018:It's been a bit over a year now and my heater is in its second year and performing very well. I am using it to maintain my upstairs room at a fairly steady temp and it does this well. I learned last year it seems to work more efficiently keeping a room at temperature than turning it on when I go into the room. I keep mine in "ECO" mode. I hear occasional thermal pops/ping but they are not loud or frequent in my unit. Still 5 stars for me and I'm still very happy with it.

Safe, gentle radiant heat.
This is my second DeLonghi oil filled heater that I purchased to warm bedrooms on the second floor. I was impressed by the first one. Adjustable temperature setting and timer works well. It is quiet and safe. Oil filled heaters just look intimidating but are one of the safest heaters to have in the home. The sides of this heater does not get too hot so my cats will sleep near it without getting burned. It takes the chill out of my bedroom overnight with a gentle, radiant heat so I can sleep well, too!

Very efficient heater for a mid-size room
I have used this for this winter. Several months have passed now. So I think I can review this product with quite a confidnece. First, it works well. Quickly heats up my room, which is a mid-size room (three king beds can fit into it). The timer is accurate and temperature gauage is also good. I compared the room temperature after it was heated up by this project with my room thermostat. Third, its color and design matches well with my room so it doesn't make my room ugly. Electricity consumption, I don't know. This winter (Michigan) was cold and the elect bill kept going up. So, I can't say any about that in relation to the product. One issue when I began to use it was the bad smell. Typical for a new heater, I guess. It took me more than 3 weeks (one or two hours a day for three to five days) to run it outside my room to make the smell go away. Now, it does not produce much smell but still lingers a little bit in the air after warming up the room. But it doesn't bother me or my family. So, I can say it is no longer a problem. Overall, this is a nice product and worth the money for me.

Effective quiet heater with minor flaws
Effective quiet heater in overall good quality. Has some medium power settings which seems to be better than full power on/off only. What's not to like: Temperature setting is a bit off. I guess that having the temperature sensor in the heater has its precision limits. I have to set the temp to 74 or 75F to keep the room at 70F. More annoying is that the unit won't automatically turn back on after a power cycle. So, it's not a unit one could control with smart power plugs.

No Place for No Stars
Foolishly, I purchased this DeLonghi Radia S Oil-Filled Radiator Space Heater, TRRS0715E, thinking it was a return and refurbished. Upon opening it immediately appeared the heater had been repacked by the original owner as all the styrofoam molding was broken and there was no plastic bag surrounding the literature. Nevertheless, I endeavored to try and use the heater as it has the features I am looking for. (I had tried to purchase it new but I could not get Amazon to permit it). I had read the reviews before I bought it and now think I must have purchased one that was returned with a bad review. This would be a nice heater if it didn't do some strange things:1) There was significant dust on one of the displays indicating it had sat somewhere and not received any attention,2) It was dark gray and not light gray as in the description,3) The manual did not match the heater so the instrument panels were not the same,4) Display buttons seldom had a tactile return. That is to say I couldn't tell if my selection registered with the heater. Pushing a button sent the heater sliding across the floor. I did need to hold the back of the heater to push a button,5) Each time I put the plug in the wall a spark jumped between the socket and the plug in addition to the hardwired fire alarm giving off a chirp. (Never had that happen before). I tried a different socket with the same result.6) Once the heater was working and I had received some feedback from the instrument panel I walked away and it was heating but the display panel wouldn't tell me what was going on. Like, I could not retrieve the display and set the thermostat because I couldn't tell what the temperature was, and7) I could not simply turn the heater on and off. If I was, I couldn't tell it.I screwed around with this for about half an hour several times to see if the heater would wake up and perform as advertised. Needless to say, I unplugged it before I left the house so I would minimize the chance of returning home to a mound of ashes. This is going back today. I'm giving it one star because Amazon delivered it and there is no place for no stars.Yeah, I'm disappointed this doesn't work and angry I have to repack with the broken styrofoam. I found the same heater at LOWE'S. Its new and about $15 more. It may ordinarily be a nice heater but I'm not buying one because this one is junk and should go to the dump.
