The One Year Chronological Bible Expressions NLT (Softcover, Cream) Paperback – October 4, 2016

This is my first time in reading a chronological Bible and so far I really am enjoying it. It's not a better Bible, it's just different than what I have been reading most of my life. I like that it has the dates of the month and days listed to keep me on track with my daily schedule. The Bible is the only book that I have consistently read daily for many years. I love the ease of the language, the simple explanation of what is going on in the story. Tyndale as always has done an excellent job with making God's Holy Word an enjoyable experience. Some people may not like this type of work but for me I am experiencing an amazing understanding of the Bible. Please do not expect this Bible to be like the King James version because I for one am excited about the new language version and I am enjoying the fact that the Psalms that King David has written about certain events that do go with the verses that I am reading for the day. My advice is to pray about it before you purchase it because it may not work just right for you. I am excited about this Bible! Be warned that this is a chronological Bible and that means that some of the verses for the day will have a repeating of the story from a different Book of the Bible.

It's a special treat to have the passages to color, but I really love the generous note sections in each page for writing. The paper is thin, but it's not tissue thin and I can write easily with only a little show in back side which I don't mind. I use this as my study Bible for at home, and the translation is perfect for me. Great Value too!

I love the way this Bible is organized! It's easy to read, and because it's chronological, you get to read the different accounts of the same story at the same time. An added bonus, in my opinion, are the lovely graphics of Bible verses on the sides of some of the pages. They're beautifully done and I love using colored pencils to decorate them.

I had never seen a chronological Bible before, but what a wonderful way to study God’s word! The translation (NLT) is easy to understand; the print is easy to read, and the illustrations are black and white and easy to color. There is lined space on the sides of most pages for note-taking. Any Bible student should have a copy of this Bible in their collection!

I’ve enjoyed this Expressions edition. I do not color much but I have used the notes columns & enjoy the size. I do with there as a leather option or at least hard cover as my Bible travels.

Even though it’s not the King James Version, I found an app that breaks the Bible down verse by verse which is super helpful!! I’ve been wanting to read the Bible all the way through but I also wanted to be able to understand what I’m reading!! This chronological bible is absolutely perfect for that!!! I also LOVE the pictures it has for you to color in it!!
