I used these to support my pumpkins growing on a trellis. Worked great!

I am using this product, it does work but needs improvement. I am using for my sweetbaby watermelons and cantaloup. I have both on a trellis. Both are small fruit (comparitively to other varieties). The diamond grid for the nylon is huge (larger than I had hoped), I have to wait longer than what I am comfortable with before putting the fruit in the netting. The once fruit is in, I have to strategically place the bottom "button" of the netting as near in the center of the fruit as I can get it and hope the fruit does not fall through the diamond grid. Also the long cinch that loops through the netting does not work that well (possible because of the smal size). The cinch concept needs to be redesigned. I just essentially use the long cinch rope to tie up to my trellis. It works but could be better.

Bought these nets to hold my watermelons I've been growing on a trellis. One of my watermelons has grown to the size of a grapefruit and I felt it now needed some support. I slipped it into the base of the net and hung it on the trellis. The net feels very sturdy and the watermelon has plenty of room to grow.

I specifically bought these cradles because I had a watermelon that was growing on the fence enclosure to the garden patch and I didn’t want it to hit the ground and crack. I put the watermelon in and it stretched so much that the watermelon fell through the crack anyway. It’s clear to me that this net only works if you have a very large watermelon and even then I’m not sure how well it would work, so unless they’re going to make this cradle with much tighter weave I wouldn’t buy it again.

Works as described. Easy to get my pumpkins in the netting. Very disappointed with the shipping. I'm prime, said next day delivery. Took a week to arrive.

these are great nets if you are transporting soccer balls or trellising already large watermelons. gaps are much much too large for trellising young cantalopes. most melons need to be trellised when they are baseball size to train the vines and that cannot happen with these. they are nice quality however.

Used for watermelons black diamonds, they kept coming apart at the bottom, hard to put on also.
