Very nice versatile laptop stand, but a slight catch for non-Apple computers...
This is a very nice laptop stand. The materials and build quality are top notch, and the dimensions are accurate. It is furniture quality bent plywood, with beautiful real walnut veneer. Please disregard the condition of the box, as it was ordered and shipped directly from SAMDI in China, and got a little banged up in transit, but the contents were in fine shape. The little chalky white marks seen along the edges in a couple photos look like scuffs, but disappeared completely once I found a damp cloth to wipe them off. Also included in the box (in one of those darker photos), is a velvet fabric bag that had the stand inside. However, there is one little drawback, but it is mostly remedied with enclosed items.I purchased this for use with a HP AB100-15T Pavilion Gaming laptop, and I would say it's probably at the limit of maximum size (non-Apple) laptop that this stand could hold securely. The shape of the front of the computer is angled to the point where the front lip is ineffective at holding the laptop in place. Upon opening the lid to an upright position, the laptop becomes tail-heavy and lifts itself over the front lip and slides off.I have remedied this by affixing the enclosed 3M adhesive rubber feet to the surface on which the laptop sits. (See pic) This has resolved this issue entirely, but it's something that must be considered. What I really like about this stand is its ability to be stood up on end to hold the laptop in a vertical position, making more room for use with an external mouse, monitor, keyboard, and accessories, while still retaining its cord management qualities. In its horizontal position, it cantilevers the computer over the work surface with no obstacles impeding use of the space below, and with enough lift to store a wireless keyboard or other accessories when not in use . It puts the laptop keyboard at a comfortable height and angle, and the monitor at an ideal viewing height. The ventilation slots seem to be more than adequate, and through last night's gaming session, the fans were able to run uninhibited, and the laptop remained cool the entire time.Overall, though, it absolutely gets five stars since what I received is exactly what's described in the listing and exactly what I wanted.

Beautiful and functional
Used this for the 16 inch Macbook and works flawlessly. The wood is flexible and sturdy at the same time.I use the lower space for dock and all the wires are hidden in there. The opening in the back is a well thought out feature.Just perfect height and angle and looks beautiful on the desk.

Beautiful thoughtful eco design
Love. Clean elevated serene design. Made of bamboo which is a fast growing eco friendly material. Perfect height and size for my 11 inch MacBook Air. Sturdy. My only request is for more than 4 little stickies for the base be included. Mine needed two in one corner to be completely flat against the table. (I happened to have an extra at home that I used.)

Looks nice but some limitations
Overall it does what is is supposed to and looks nice. Its well made and looks like its one continuous piece. However, its not solid wood. It is made from layers of wood like plywood but the outermost layers do have a wood finish. I got it for my wife as I noticed she often works from the laptop in our kitchen like it a standing desk. It fits our 2019 13" MacBook Air fine. So what are the limitations?1) It is not adjustable as its one block but we knew that. My wife is a little over 5' so the height seems good for her. I am 5'10" and its a little low for me.2) The lower lip is sturdy so no chance the laptop will slide out. But the lip is thick and a bit high. So even if there is an opening in the front that looks like its supposed to allow you to open the laptop screen, the new MacBook Airs are too thin and your thumb cannot reach to open the laptop. You have to lift the laptop a bit to open and then rest again. Other laptops could be fineThe last thing is not a limitation but its something to note. The stand comes with 4 soft plastic adhesive circles that you place on the bottom like feet. It firmly attaches to our granite countertop. Good side is that it definitely will not slide off, even if you bump it. However, if you want to slightly adjust or pivot, it does not slide. You have to pick it up and move it.

Beautiful laptop stand
This is a very nice, modern, plywood stand. The finish is a very nice-looking maple. It is well-balanced, and thoughtfully designed. The curved shelf on which the laptop rests has venting cut through in parallel lines to help keep the laptop cool. I have a 13.3. MS Surface Book on it, and it sits well. It is very elegant looking, and it raises the laptop closer to eye level for better ergonomics. The shape also provides a useful alcove under the laptop to slide a desktop keyboard and a small dock or hub. The back of the unit has a hole cut out for cable management. The only suggestion I would make would be to add some rubber grip pads to the laptop shelf. The Surface Book is a 2-in-1, so the feet on it are a bit small, letting it slide around a bit more than I would like. This may not be an issue for another laptop with bigger feet, so I would not mark it down for that (just a suggestion). Overall, very pleased with it. As nice a Grovemade but at a far more reasonable price point. Highly recommended.

Great for thinkpad!
Now that I know I’ll be working from home on a more permanent basis, I decided to make some updates to my home office setup. I need a dual screen for my job, and the monitor I use to connect to my laptop is quite large. This led to the laptop screen seeming a lot lower down than the monitor screen, so I wanted a stand to help level them out. This one looks much nicer than a lot of the other ones on the market and holds my thinkpad perfectly! I also like the hole in the back to feed cords through - helps keep everything nice and tidy. It is a bit expensive but for me personally very worth it. Lastly, my workplace doesn’t do video calls very often, but if you’re using the camera on your laptop this would bring it more to eye level which could be nice

Great simple design, nice materials, good functionality
Beautiful, great quality. The wood of the stand looks amazing, not cheap. Very robust, can handle pressure/weight due to the material and design. It comes as one piece in a protective bag. No assembly necessary.I use it on a small 11" Laptop and it fits very well and makes my laptop match my screen at a comfortable height. The big bonus is that a keyboard or book can easily fit under the stand, roughly 4cm in the front part and 13 cm in the back can fit in.In my case I have a Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard which fits without the front-part of the keyboard attached, or backwards if you slide it from the side with the front-part.Customer service:I had some issues with the delivery and the customer service handled my case within hours. Thanks!

Very happy!
I ended from from one of the review photos on here getting the keyboard lifter too. Its all nice bamboo ver light and holds everything into place well. I have a 15” MacBook Pro retina late 2013 model on there with the case on it. It feels nicely but I don’t thin I would use a bigger laptop then this on it. I do have to hold it when opening/closing so it doesn’t slip out but I think this is because I keep the case on it maybe? I do really wish I would have gotten this years ago makes a huge difference for the better! Both the laptop and keyboard holder come with little feet you stick on the bottom. They really world you can’t even try to drag it a big must lift because they really hold things in place so well.

Awesome!
Great laptop stand! Stylish and great quality. Perfect height for video meetings and can even still use the keyboard if needed, through a separate keyboard would be ideal.

Good stand but check your device first!
It is a great stand that adds a lot of character to my desk. The one thing I would warn is that notebooks or laptops with rounded bottoms will slide off the edge on the front. I have an ASUS ROG laptop and I had to create a larger bracket to hold it in place.
