Top quality 'sturdy' bright shiny stainless - easy to keep clean and hygienic - lightweight, but tough enough to take most of the 'knocks' from travelling. Very well thought out, practical design and very well made too with rolled 'bead' edges throughout for extra strength, rigidity and safety. Not non-stick, but 'non-stick' is only 'better' for as long as coating lasts, and with my cooking - that's not long! Stainless is not affected even by 'my' vindaloo. The 'inner' dish is very useful but can be a bit of a tight fit, you have to take it out/in quite evenly or it will stick a bit - but this 'good' fit does mean that while not quite 'water-tight' for liquids you can store produce in it fairly 'air-tight' to keep fresh while you travel to your destination - very useful where space is limited. Brilliant for the rice. With the right size cool pack in it you can even confidently take fresh fish or most meat(s) without fear of deterioration for quite some time (wash pot and lid before use again of course). This model ( 670003 ) is the 'large' size, there are several versions that 'look' exactly the same in listings but are actually a smaller size. (670001, 670002) so check carefully. Unless you want a 'solo' mess kit the smaller sizes (though cheaper) are no where near as versatile. Not the cheapest of options, but (for me) far superior and well worth that 'bit' extra. Highly, highly recommended, for 2+ persons, or the smaller size(s) for solo use.

After a few times opening and close the clips are not as tight as they should , I dare say after a few times on the Kelly kettle this will get worse , but for the money there ok nothing special
