I was looking for a good metal shaker that can make 2-4 drinks at a time with a ton of fresh lemon juice I had on hand, and this thing did not disappoint. I love the jigger that it comes with and the stir spoon is an added bonus. The recipe books is underwhelming, but I didn't buy it for that and I tend to tweak every recipe to my own liking anyways. When I made whiskey sours with this thing it got so cold i thought my hands would get frost bite. It bruised the ice perfectly and also made my drink a bit slushy just how i like. It's the perfect size for me to whip up a double batch of cocktails for the wife and I at the same time. Also, one thing I thought was very cool was that this company say they plant a tree for every product of theirs you buy, I ain't no hippy by any means, but I do like purchasing items from companies that are trying to do a bit more for the world than just making a quick buck off people. I have recommended this set to other and would buy it again. And for everyone complaining about how it fits when you shake it, and real bartender will tell you that you hold a shaker secure with both hands, hand on the strainer capt and the top and bottom tightly together while you shake it. If you know how to make a drink right and shake your drinks hard like you are supposed to, this isn't an issue for you.

I love making cocktails and wanted to freshen up my mixology gear - purchasing this set was the absolute best decision I could have made! It contains everything you need to make a great drink, the materials are awesome, and it is stunning to look at.My old shaker always gave me a hard time when trying to open it - that problem is now GONE with this one from Mixologist World. The jigger is a great size, you get to choose between the small end being 0.8oz, and the large end being 1.7oz - the smaller size allows me to be more precise when measuring (it's always easier to fill the jigger twice if you want to make a bigger cocktail than to have a large jigger in which you will accidentally pour more into and throw off your measurements with). As for the cocktail recipes book, it's such a great addition! This is the first time I've seen something like that included in a set, and love the fact that they did it.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

I recently watched Martha Stewart using a shaker like this on TV to make martinis James Bond-style and I knew I had to have one. (I've just taken up mixology in my old age and didn't even know then that this three piece shaker is known as a cobbler.) When I saw this model on Amazon, I was struck with the proportions and overall shapeliness of it. And in fact when I took it out of its box I found it even more pleasing to the eye. Even the bonus jigger looks good! To my eye the stainless steel has a slightly burnished quality, which is attractive too. And as an amateur, I certainly appreciated the cocktail guide that came with the shaker and the eguide that was sent me.Apart from that, I find that my new shaker seals well with just that bit of resistance you would want. I did make two martinis and had no problem with leakage (although I hold on to the top as I shake shake shake). The shaker got very cold but that's desirable, no? Even Martha Stewart mentioned that her shaker got so cold it hurt her fingers! And the drinks tasted fine, although I think next time I'll add a tad more vermouth. I'm learning.I might add that this size is perfect for my purposes, which is to make two to four drinks. I expect to use it very often, maybe too often! I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

In all sincerity, this is a lovely set. The engraving is nice, the materials are great and even the little booklet included is thoughtfully made of a material that will take spills and splashes as you make both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Also as part of the order, they sent an E Book with more virgin recipes and descriptions of commonly used techniques for properly mixing drinks. The double measure is .75 oz on the small end and 1.5 oz on the big end. The spoon is nicely weighted and allows you to stand it upright so the spoon bowl part does not lay on the counter. The strainer is built into the top cap.Finally, after discovering the spoon was not included in my set, I communicated with the seller and the response was quick and they made everything right and all in a few days. I will find reasons to do business with them again. Up until this point, I've had a streak of bad luck with some recent Amazon purchases but this transaction has renewed my faith in the process. I'm surprised that there are no reviews on this item as of yet. I searched on Amazon.com for the highest rated cocktail shakers and this was a top one. When it went on sale for $35 I snatched it up. It is a very beautiful shaker with the tree engraved on the spoon (muddler part), jigger, and shaker lid, which sets it apart from plain shakers. The small recipe book is a nice touch. Unfortunately, I cannot review on how well it works as it's a Christmas gift for my husband. However, based on Amazon.com reviews I think it will work wonderfully. This shipped quickly from the seller with no damage to the box or product itself.

Item bought was as shown on the site. The shaker has a good finish.

This is an typical cheap chinese product . The lid of shaker doesnt close properly . edges are so sharp .. Hopeless product .
