When you have arthritis this tool helps open stuck canning jars
This jar opener works pretty well. Much better than hurting my wrist trying to open canning jars. With stuck canning jars it sometimes slips but much better than opening with hands and using hot water etc to open canning jars. Still takes a little work or I would give it five stars

Did not work
The tool would not tighten on the lid. It just skips to next notch and then is too loose. Returned it immediately. Do not buy! Does not even deserve one star. Only gave the one star to be able to do the rating.

Doesn’t work, too flimsy.
A solid piece of junk. The rubber pads do not grab lids tight enough to hold a good grip and open jars and lids. The swing arm does not hold in position when lever is depressed in down position.
