Useless kit for impossible repair
First of all, the instructions that come with this kit are horrible. Second, the video shows an adhesive used to seal the watch after the repair, but it is not included in the kit. Instead, they include a double sided sticky pad that would never provide the same water tight seal. Not to worry, though, because the repair is never going to get to that stage. Third, there are numerous items in this kit that have nothing to do with this repair. There's no indication in the instructions what they are even meant to do (e.g., the plastic handles with screws at the end). As for the repair itself, I watched numerous youtube videos to see how this repair is done. I did manage to open the watch, remove the protective stickers and unlatch the ribbon cables. Going extremely carefully and slowly, I managed to get about half way through the process of using the wire to separate the glass when the wire accidentally cut into the display. There's a reason every repair video shows the person using a vacuum block to hold the display in place while using the wire to separate the glass. Doing it by hand is nearly impossible. The suction cup that comes with the kit is a joke. Using double sided tape to hold it down is how I managed to get half way through it, but even then with the curved edge of the glass on both sides, it's extremely difficult to keep the wire at the right level to avoid cutting into the display. Even with the right tools, this is a really tough repair. This kit, though, is a complete joke. Don't waste your money.

Parts are great…for a professional
These items are spectacular. Quality doesn’t appear cheap however the most complex part of this repair is separating the screens from the LCD. I ended up damaging my LCD. Leave this to the professionals. I am very tech savvy and great at fixing things. I got through all the way with a bit of a struggle. It’s the separation that made this impossible. I’d say if you have a hot plate then you can do it. If you don’t, take it to get repaired.

Not for a casual repair!
I am pretty handy and have done everything from automotive engine work, to household wiring and plumbing, to upgrading RAM on a computer. But I trashed my watch. I'm not sure where in the process things went wrong, but I suspect (like others) it was separating the old glass from the sensor. I thought I had it apart OK, but when cleaning the sensor I noted that there had been cuts under the smashed part, and it looked like I hadn't removed all the old glue. More work started peeling another thing plastic layer, which suspect was an integral part of the sensor. Regardless, it didn't work when I plugged it back into the watch body before glue up and reassemblyWas it worth it? I think so. Fun project to try, and a "repaired" (really subbing out for a refurbished model that may or may not be watertight) watch is better than half as expensive as getting a new one. Not sure if I'll get a new one or not- I am a watch guy and have other options (although, none as versatile).A couple general comments:-Video has no sound, which is probably a good thing, because I don't speak Mandarin.-The kit comes with a lot of tools that you don't need (my guess is that they are used for other repairs, and this is a general toolkit), and they are all cheap Chinese crap. But they are specialized cheap Chinese crap, so kind of needed (again: some of them).-The UV light (for curing the glue) was incredible weak. I didn't make it that far, so I don't know if it would have worked, but I would have supplemented it with other UV lights I have.-The instructions are a bad translation, but easy to figure out, especially working with both the enclosed printed ones and the video.

Did not go by the instructions
The media could not be loaded. This watch was damaged, but was still intact, so I used the kit to fill the cracks with the resin and placed the plastic cover over it. Much easier and is working well. The watch is one I wear for work, so I was not too worried about it.

Not correct size like stated.
I bought this kit to replace the screen on my 3 series. It states it’s for it. Took my watch apart (Mother’s Day gift from my daughter) as the directions stated. Everything was going good and when I grabbed the replacement screen. Too small. I grab the other one. TOO SMALL. I tried to put the broken screen back on and it won’t go on. DESTROYED. I now have no watch at all and out the money for this pointless kit.

A HOT Buy....and Not the Way you Think!
When it comes to repairing things, I generally prefer an expert, but in the case of my cracked faced Apple Watch, I thought, why not? What do I have to lose? It was going to be over $200 to have the manufacturer repair it or spend less than $30 and do it myself. Needless to say, this decision still burns me up!In the process of removing the screen, SUCCESS!! It was at this point however that things went from looking promising to hell in a handbasket. In the span of a few seconds, I watched as the watch screen started to flicker on and off, an electrical spark...then a flame just larger than a candle lit erupted, causing me to drop the watch as I stood stunned to see the repair box light up in flames right there on my table. It was like something out of a cartoon or B-rated scary movie. You could have called it, "Come On Baby WATCH My Fire!"Next thing I knew, I had grabbed a cup of water, dropped the watch inside and ran the flaming box to the fire pit wearing oven mitts. Smokey the Bear would have been so disappointed in me...
